During a portion of an interview with CBS News National Security Correspondent David Martin released on Wednesday, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin stated that in response to the Chinese spy balloon that flew over the country last week, the United States ensured that its nuclear bases “were buttoned down” and that “movement was limited and communications were limited so that we didn’t expose any capability unnecessarily.” Austin also stated that the buttoning down applied to nuclear bases all across the United States. Martin asked, “You don’t know what it was looking for, but you certainly know what you were concerned about it looking for.

I find this potentially troubling. "Limit movement, communications across country" may be fatal if some future balloon incursion is in fact a designed head fake preceding a nuclear attack. That may be exactly what the Chinese are conditioning our minimally competent leadership to do...fear of media criticism leading to total inaction for 4 or 5 days. But hey, no mean tweets. Right, you 81,000,000 idiots?

You want an outstanding example of the decay and rot in our Country due to advancement and hiring based solely on skin color? Ladies and Gentlemen my I introduce you to our Secretary of Defense, who oversees all of our military services which at this point couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag - Obese Human Blimp Lloyd Austin. Amazing that this fat infused dumbass was also a General in the Army! The only thing Blimpie Austin could defeat is the buffet at a local restaurant. This puffed up slug is going to get millions and millions of Americans killed. Just imagine what the six million dollar porker Austin and his equally treasonous and equally fat infused Chief of Staff, Soy Boy Milley, have done to the food budget at the Pentagon Officers Mess. When those two lumber into the mess hall the kitchen staff is put on Defcon 1.

Telling potential enemies with nuclear weapons how to force the USA to limit movements and shutdown nuclear weapons site communications is not a good idea! That’s just common sense. You would think that even the affirmative action and politicized “woke” folks running the US Defense Department these days would know that.

I'd say Sec. Def. Lloyd Austin is as dumb as a box of rocks, but that would insult rocks. My oldest brother was in Austin's class at West Point, and he and his buddies pulled him through by tutoring him. My brother is very competent and only made full colonel before he retired while Austin was riding the Affirmative Action gravy train to General, and then Sec. Def. BOHICA!

One of the major jobs that Joe Biden is supposed to have is the defense of the nation. But we see with the case of the Chinese spy balloon, there are big questions about how Biden’s team is responding to such threats. His NORAD Commander Gen. Glenn VanHerck said he didn’t shoot it down after it entered American airspace because he didn’t see it having any hostile intent. Now of course an aircraft from a hostile power breaching our airspace seem perforce hostile and could have any intent — which is why you take it down.
