The guy was apparently sleeping with one of the officer's girlfriend/baby-mama and sent him a text of them in the act. It was not race related, it was sex-related. Why the authorities will not release this information is beyond me. Everyone in Memphis knows the story.

"Toxic femininity! Watched an episode of "Cops, Reloaded" only yesterday. Black kid stole a motor scooter. Cops chased him through neighborhoods until he arrived back home at an apartment in a low-income housing unit. Grabbed him as he dumped the scooter. Mother came running out of the apartment yelling "Turn him loose! He didn't no nuthin! He was just in here watching TV until he heard all the fuss out here! He just run out the door! That's his scooter! He paid a boy $200 for that scooter yesterday!" Motherhood! Ha!

SO Cops can abuse citizens at their whim? Time for a total relook at all training and leadership! Qualified Immunity should disappear the second a cop crosses the Rights LINE!

I can’t say I wouldn’t take revenge for what the guy did with the cops wife either. But, cops are human, they have human emotions, they can be pushed too far like anyone. And, this cop went too far and is being punished for it. I find no credible excuses for the others.

Nobody wants to discuss the truth of what is happening in black culture because the shouts of Racism! will soon drown it out. Before Obama and woke-ism we had it almost right. Since everybody is afraid to discuss the underlying psychological and socioeconomic reasons why young black men are such a problem, just lock them up when they commit violent crimes. They can't harm decent society if they are in cages. That's good enough for me.

A friend was a cop in Memphis about 30 years ago for a decade. He told me it was "a mean town" and a great place to be far away from. He happened to be one of the first few officers at Graceland after Elvis expired. He said it was an ugly scene. I avoid getting out of the vehicle if I have to go to Memphis. I recently took an advanced firearms training course at a facility outside of Memphis.....made a point to stay well outside of the city, even though a few of the other students had suggested staying at a fancy hotel in the city. I explained why....and also the drive was longer.

The white population of Memphis is 27%. That's all you need to know. There is the "real problem." The truth. The inconvenient truth.

Kamala Harris has been the undisputed champion of syllable salads since her inauguration as vice president in January 2021. But in recent times, her admirers have begun to lose patience. It had been four long months since she has delivered her characteristic verbal devastation. She had almost faded away into oblivion, making few public appearances. It led many to wonder if she had it in her to deliver her infamous alphabet soups again. On January 31, Harris shut down all those wagging tongues as she made an ignominious comeback.

The narrative about "free, safe, secure elections" changed 180 degrees since November 2022. Almost nobody is crazy enough to say America has free, fair elections. After Kari Lake and Adam Laxalt, the most wimpish George Bush RINO hesitates to say "elections are fair." Since our team processed billions of election roll "snapshots" taken since 2020, we run the largest election database in the world. We concluded that U.S. elections are rigged by both parties, and they are rigged with the active help of election officials or their acquiescence.

Bloomberg, which exists to serve active traders on Wall Street, is throwing shade on the January jobs report that “surprised” a lot of people with its positive numbers. Before addressing the technical factors used to produce the rosy numbers, consider the buried lede hundreds of words into the piece. Stripped of all the technical jargon is this stark reality: "On an unadjusted basis, payrolls actually fell by 2.5 million last month."

Tucker Carlson began his top-rated Fox News program with a startling and disturbing comparison of the treatment of Joe Biden’s family with the way that children of dictators are treated in places like Iraq under Saddam. (hasty transcription by me) You know you’re living in a non-democracy when it’s dangerous to displease the ne’er do well children of the supreme leader. If you were, for example, at a red light in pre-invasion Baghdad, and Uday Hussein came screaming up behind you in his Lamborghini, you got the hell out of the way

What's the celebration all about in Minnesota? (snip) The answer is a celebration about abortion, or "reproductive rights" as they call it these days. After Roe was overturned, we knew that states would decide the issue on their own. And so they did. Elections have consequences as we see in a 34-33 party-line vote. And in Minnesota they had a huge celebration to go with it. Not one Democrat had the guts to stand up and look at the abortion fanatics and say: This is too much. You can't go this far.

Mark Steyn has been lamentably missing from his regular appearances and occasional guest hosting of Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show, having signed on for a weekday program at the UK’s GBNews. Looking perhaps a bit thinner than before, he returned to the air with a characteristically whimsical announcement that he is “still alive.” The two-minute video is essential viewing for all Steyn fans

Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” apply to all radicals, including those who take the radical position that patriotic constitutional conservativism is a good thing. For any given election, it is customary to expect some falsehoods. (snip) Just yesterday, following a court order, footage of the attack on Paul Pelosi at his San Francisco home was made public. (snip) The reason citizens should be concerned about it is because the incident was used to push a narrative prior to the midterm elections. This wasn’t just a few conspiracy theorists blogging from their basements, it was a Democrat and media blitzkrieg. Joe Biden described the attack as "despicable," and denounced a corrosive political climate for contributing to violence. He baselessly claimed that the attack appeared to be "intended for Nancy."

Let’s cut to the chase: Did Joe Biden remove classified documents from the National Archives that would incriminate him in the influence peddling racket he and his family were running? That’s the most important question about them, and that’s probably why the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) is being stonewalled in their demand to see them. All members of the SSCI have high level security clearances and are considered able to see them. (snip) The fact that Democrats are joining Republicans in their outrage would seem to indicate that the party consensus is that Biden needs to go before he torpedoes the 2024 presidential and congressional election

Transportation Secretary and Chasten’s wife — er, husband, Pete Buttigieg, went on NBC’s Meet the Press on Feb. 5 to preview Joe Biden’s State of the Union address. During that appearance, Buttigieg claimed that Joe Biden is just so wildly successful as president that his accomplishments cannot be easily distilled — hence Biden’s low approval ratings. Yes, Mayor Pete actually said Biden is extremely unpopular because he’s too good at his job. Buttigieg rambled out a justification of the Biden administration allowing an apparent Chinese spy balloon to cross the U.S. before shooting it down over the ocean (where, quite conveniently, no one can pick up tell-tale debris as enlightening evidence).

Georges Bergès, who has been overseeing the sale of Biden's paintings, said the 53-year-old would 'become one of the most consequential artists in this century.' His comments came as the New York Post pressed him on whether he would comply with requests from the House Oversight Committee, which asked to see the names of individuals who purchased Biden's artwork and the price they paid for it.

The military did not detect previous flights of Chinese spy balloons over the U.S. that took place during the Trump administration, a top general said Monday, due to a "gap" in the Defense Department's ability to track certain airborne objects. Gen. Glen VanHerck, head of North American Aerospace Defense Command, cited the issue as the reason that at least three spy balloon flights were not briefed to senior Trump officials at the time. "So those balloons, so every day as a NORAD commander it's my responsibility to detect threats to North America," he told reporters at the Pentagon. "I will tell you that we did not detect those threats.

"Nonbinary" singer Sam Smith's duet with transgender artist Kim Petras for their song, "Unholy," featured Smith wearing Devil horns, while Petras gyrated in a cage against the backdrop of flames. Dancers dressed as demons bowed and crawled around Smith. "This…is…evil," Cruz wrote in response to a tweet of the performance shared by conservative commentator Liz Wheeler. "Don't fight the culture wars, they say. Meanwhile demons are teaching your kids to worship Satan. I could throw up," she remarked.

America's Civil War, which raged from 1861 to 1865, was by far the bloodiest conflict in our history. Original estimates put the death toll at about 620,000, including some 360,000 Union and 260,000 Confederate dead. More recent estimates of the carnage are even higher: 750,000 to 850,000. The Battle of Antietam on Sept. 17, 1862, at Sharpsburg, Maryland, still ranks as the bloodiest day in U.S. history, with nearly 23,000 casualties on both sides, including 3,675 killed in action. How does a country possibly recover from a calamity so huge?
