National Archives Skips Deadline to Disclose

The National Archives has missed the House Oversight Committee’s deadline to comply with requested documents related to President Joe Biden’s classified document scandal, according to the committee’s spokesperson. On January 10, the committee demanded the National Archives hand over records detailing the interactions between Biden’s attorneys and the Justice Department on or before January 24. “The National Archives has not produced the requested documents to the Committee at this time,” the committee spokesperson told reporters Tuesday. “Chairman Comer’s request still stands and anticipates moving forward with a transcribed interview with NARA’s general counsel soon.”

Looks like the leftist at the National Archives felt dissed and decided to go full bold cover up. Looks like Meritless and the FBI aren't the only ones that can join in the fun of a cover up.

It shouldn't be long before the many pukes at the National Archives say, "I don't recall", "I'm not aware", "You'll have to ask someone else", "I had it all ready last night but the dog got ahold of it", "Based on the legal advice of counsel I plead the 5th", etc.......

If he hasn't already, Garland will write to NA requesting that it not comply with any congressional subpoena on this subject pending the conclusion of the investigation by the special prosecutor. The courts are unlikely to become involved in an inter-branch dispute on this subject short of an impeachment proceeding.

Twitter CEO Elon Musk traveled to Capitol Hill on Thursday and met with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to discuss how Twitter can be “fair to both parties,” Musk said on his social media platform. Musk noted he also met with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY). The meeting with Jeffries may have been unplanned, as McCarthy reportedly offered to introduce the pair while they were both in his office, according to the Hill. “Just met with @SpeakerMcCarthy & @RepJeffries to discuss ensuring that this platform is fair to both parties,” Musk tweeted. Currently, Americans aren’t reproducing at the replacement rate. So, some level of immigration will be needed in order to prevent a disastrous population implosion. But how much immigration should we have, and on what basis should we select our immigrants? When someone in a poorer country says she wants to become an American, it’s not nice to say no. It also makes me a bit uneasy for our government to select would-be immigrants based on the purported “value” of those immigrants. On the other hand, an immigration lottery is so arbitrary that it seems its own sort of cruelty. The alternative, which very few people openly advocate, is open borders:

'Are you going to dance?' the president asked the first lady as the troupe ended their performance and there was an awkward pause.  'No, you're going to come up. ... Come on up Joe! No, you're not going to dance,' Dr. Biden replied, as the president teased he might do so. 'Believe me, you don't want to ruin the evening,' the first lady added. The Treasury Department will not yet comply with congressional requests for Hunter Biden’s banking records, the agency said Wednesday. House Oversight and Accountability Committee chairman James Comer of Kentucky requested Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) detailing Hunter Biden’s financial transactions in a Jan. 11 letter to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen. The reports are taken by banks in accordance with federal law when deposits or withdrawals exceed $10,000 or may indicate criminal activity. Comer previously said he believes banks have taken out more than 150 reports on Hunter Biden and “other Biden family members.” Assistant Treasury Secretary for Legislative Affairs Jonathan Davidson told Comer on Wednesday that he failed to

The governor of Georgia on Thursday issued a state of emergency order over continued protests in connection to a proposed Atlanta police training facility. The order from Governor Brian Kemp will last 15 days and includes the mobilization of 1,000 Georgia National Guards troops.  This comes a week after 26-year-old Manuel Teran, a protestor, allegedly shot a state trooper before gunfire was returned and he was killed. The trooper is expected to survive.  'Georgians respect peaceful protest, but do not tolerate acts of violence against persons or property,' the state of emergency issued Thursday reads.

An elevated rate of Bell’s palsy was identified among elderly people after vaccination with a Pfizer booster shot, U.S. regulators said in a new study. The “small but statistically significant elevation” in Bell’s palsy was detected after vaccination with Pfizer’s old booster, which is no longer available in the United States, researchers with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said in a preprint study. The elevated rate resulted in an adjusted incidence rate ratio of 1.13 and remained consistent when researchers adjusted for different factors, such as prior COVID-19 infection. A rate above one shows a possible connection between the vaccine and an adverse event.
