On PBS, Historian/Biden Helper Jon Meacham
Compares Liz Cheney, Bush Sr. to Lincoln

Liberal Republican and Firing Line host Margaret Hoover talked to historian and Biden speechwriter Jon Meacham in the latest edition of the relaunched public affairs show on PBS. Hoover allowed Meacham to claim “I’m not a Democrat. I’m not a Republican. I’m not an operative. I don’t have any political insights after, say, Antietam." That was self-evidently false. When Hoover asked Meacham for “the essential quality for a successful American president,” Meacham predictably cited Lincoln, the subject of his latest biography, and found some oddball modern-day comparisons,

FTA "HOOVER: And yet Liz Cheney is no longer a leader in Congress. MEACHAM: Exactly. And that’s courage. And one great test about the durability and the ultimate wisdom of the American people will be what happens to her next." When was the lizard a "leader in Congress"? Courage? because she stood for re-election and was slaughtered in the primary? What drivel. But drivel describes Hoover's version of Firing Line.

When I read this I see those that are actually placing the American union at risk are blaming the people that are working to save it. Clearly projection. Bush Sr was wrong and lead to the Clintons, then Obama and now Biden.

Meacham has a twisted mind and by the time his lies are repeated by Joe Biden they emerge as dementia-fueled leftist nonsense not heard since the rantings of Barack Obama.

FTA: "I don’t have any political insights after, say, Antietam." Meacham said. And yet, here you are providing political insights about people and events long after that on a regular basis. Apparently, your Vanderbilt University gig isn't paying enough and you're happy to lie to people for your own gain. Sit down, sir. We've had enough of your "insights".

A 63-pound pup who was deemed 'too big' and 'too strong' has finally found his forever home after an 'unlucky streak' of 14 failed adoptions.  Ronald, a playful mixed breed, was transferred to the SPCA of Wake County, a non-profit animal rescue in Raleigh, North Carolina, from a nearby municipal shelter on December 7, 2022, Fox News reported.  Within a month, the one-year-old went home with three different families for trial adoptions and was requested by 11 others, but his boisterous energy and size seemed to be a turnoff for potential owners.  'He is basically your typical puppy. He is playful and clumsy and goofy and still learning his manners,'

The watchdog group Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust filed a complaint Friday saying that Rep. Schiff's two-minute video shows the California Democrat speaking to senators in his role of impeachment manager during former President Donald Trump's first impeachment trial.  House members are prohitibed from using House and Senate floor video for campaign purposes - even if the footage comes from a news outlet.  'This is a clear violation of House Ethics Rules and Federal law. January 6 Was the Worst Incident of Police

One might be inclined to apply Hanlon’s razor—never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity—to the actions of law enforcement on January 6, 2021. One might even be inclined to replace “stupidity” with “incompetence” to explain why police behaved the way they did that afternoon. But a growing body of evidence suggests neither stupidity nor incompetence can justify what now appears to be the worst incident of police brutality against political protesters since the civil rights era. After two years of watching cherry-picked video clips produced by the Department of Justice and the news media to depict Trump supporters as the violent aggressors on January 6,

The dramatic police bodycam footage showing the violent attack on Paul Pelosi finally provides a glimpse of the incident which triggered a string of conspiracy theories. A court ordered the release of the video despite protests from the San Francisco District Attorney's Office, who said it could be manipulated to spread misinformation. Ironically, the delay in sharing the footage prompted a stream of speculation and some baseless claims about the attack. In the footage, we see the moment police officers Kolby Wilmes and Kyle Cagney approached the grandiose Pelosi residence at around 2:31am on Friday, October 28, after Paul Pelosi dialed 911.

Speaking to reporters at the White House Friday afternoon, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to rule out tapping the Strategic Petroleum Reserve yet again as gas prices continue to increase. She also failed to explain when the Biden administration plans to refill the reserve. (Tweet/Video) In order to mitigate the political problem of high gas prices ahead of the 2022 midterm elections, President Joe Biden depleted the SPR to historically low and dangerous levels not seen since the 1970s. High prices were self-inflicted through Biden's war on oil and gas in order to satisfy the demands of inefficient, alternative energy activists.

The Biden administration is facing some scrutiny over a proposal to change the way it racially/ethnically classifies federal employees. At the moment, anyone of Middle Eastern or North African descent only has the option of identifying/being classified as “white.” Were the administration’s proposal to be approved, these individuals would instead have the option of identifying as Middle Eastern or North African. The proposal would accomplish this by rewriting the Office of Management and Budget 1997 Statistical Policy Directive No. 15: Standards for Maintaining, Collecting, and Presenting Federal Data on Race and Ethnicity (SPD 15).
