As RedState reported, the slow news cycle was blown up on Saturday after it was announced that a DOJ search of Joe Biden’s home had found six more classified documents. That comes after the White House had asserted that the search had been completed. Biden’s lawyers immediately tried to get out in front of the revelation, releasing a statement claiming cooperation with the DOJ. But while the administration continues to talk about transparency, one bombshell detail from the search has left the president’s lies fully exposed. Namely, the fact that documents were found that were taken during Biden’s years in the Senate.

President Joe Biden’s administration broke the all-time record for the number of illegal aliens encountered on the U.S.-Mexico border last month, according to newly released numbers.
The administration released the numbers late Friday evening likely in hopes that the news of more than a quarter of a million encounters would get little coverage in the news media.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) had 251,487 encounters with illegal aliens last month, the highest number ever recorded in U.S. history.
Last month’s numbers, combined with the first two months of fiscal year 2023 — October and November — put the U.S. on track to have more than 2.87 million illegal alien encounters

The majority of Americans blame President Joe Biden for ongoing record-breaking illegal immigration levels at the United States-Mexico border, a new poll reveals.
A Yahoo/YouGov poll released on Friday shows that 54 percent of American adults blame Biden either “a great deal” or “some” for record-breaking illegal immigration levels. Only about 33 percent of Americans said Biden is not to blame.
Most significantly, swing voters by a 58 percent majority said Biden is responsible for illegal immigration over the last two years while fewer than 3-in-10 say otherwise. A majority of white Americans, 61 percent, and a plurality of Hispanic Americans, 46 percent, said Biden is to blame.

From 1989 to 2019, Chicago knew only two mayors — Richard M. Daley and Rahm Emanuel. Now it appears that after one term, Mayor Lori Lightfoot is going to be kicked to the curb — a fate she earned with graceless incompetence and dimwitted management of a city that’s out of control.
The latest poll on the crowded Democratic field to challenge Lightfoot is significant. The two most radical candidates — Lightfoot and Rep. Jesus “Chuy” Garcia — are trailing the far less crazy Paul Vallas by a heft margin.
Vallas leads the nine-candidate field with 26% followed by Garcia with 19%.

For all Joe Biden’s talk about “semi-fascist” and “un-American,” “ultra-MAGA” Republicans, it is the Democratic Party that has far more radically changed. How it proceeds with that agenda is now as entirely predictable as it is creepy.

So Joe Biden is finally, officially in trouble for something. While many in the media are eager to point out that Biden’s classified document scandal isn’t as bad in some ways as Trump’s classified document scandal, some realists have admitted that they’re similar enough that there’s probably not a lot to be gained here. And one reason that’s true is that while Biden’s people did quickly call the National Archives to, in effect, turn themselves in once the documents were found, they sat on the findings as far as the public was concerned.
If you’ve watched any of the White House press briefings this week then you already know this has
