The Republican-controlled House Financial Services Committee is taking heat for listing “diversity and inclusion” in the finance and housing industries as part of its agenda, but Republicans on the committee are standing by the agenda and rejecting any notion of it being “woke.”
Committee chairman Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-NC) said in a statement provided to Breitbart News when asked about the diversity language that the committee plans to prioritize “kitchen table issues.”
McHenry indicated that would be a contrast to the focus of Democrats, who he said had spent the last two Congresses pressuring companies until they “parroted their woke social agenda.”

It is a woke agenda. Why is an agenda necessary? Go back to investors building properties, and customers paying for them.

Too many Republicans have bought into the leftist agenda, and they are so deep into it they no longer even realize the evil hidden within it. To profess diversity and inclusion they are accepting the politics of identity, and that ends up with quotas and the rejection of merit. Better representatives have to be found than this.

As always Republicans fail to acknowledge that words matter. Diversity and Inclusion are big turn offs for most Americans, including a lot of Democrats. I’m disappointed that Representative Donalds is going along with keeping decisive leftist terminology that should be trashed. Why cannot Republicans speak clearly and accurately? All Democrat jargon should be removed.

Well, that didn't take long, did it? Back to business as usual. Any republican who signs off on stupid leftist ideas like 'diversity and inclusion' and believes this is nothing but a RINO.

Hate to give the Democrats credit, but at least they telegraph their intentions. Most of the time.
Not so with the Republicans. They hide their intentions, and their supporters only discover those intentions when they discover a knife in their back.

Republicans need to drop the phrase ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ from their vocabulary. It doesn’t mean what they think it does and it does not win votes.

Read the statement of Byron Donalds of Florida. He knows where he is in time and space; he's probably the next governor of Florida, should the current one have further ambitions.

I'm not surprised but VERY disappointed. Here go the republicans once again, helping the socialist agenda even just a little bit. Our country is on the verge of collapse because for decades republicans have ONLY slowed down the socialist juggernaut driven by depraved democrats. Republicans do this EVERY SINGLE TIME. And each time they do, our constitutional republic, our country, our history, our traditions, get weaker and weaker.
I'm so disappointed in Donalds who should know better. Using socialist's language gives credence to, and affirmation and agreement with, their sick and dangerous cause. This is not good. We truly are doomed even when there appears to be just a modicum of hope for our agenda. Except for President Donald J. Trump, we can trust NO REPUBLICANS, NONE.

That language sadly does not surprise me. What would have gladly surprised me is the use of language indicating that they were going to follow the paths of our Founders that made America great in the first place, and used language prayerfully honoring & seeking the blessings of Almighty God to guide them and help them to do what is best for America’s future. But, public language & actions like those fell out of favor long ago In Washington D.C. Other gods are honored now.

We have given enough time to diversity and now we need to stress excellence. Our culture is being threatened to bow down to people who have had two generations to take advantage of education and employment. many have done very well because they are not lazy. We are competing on a global level and you can bet that the Red Chinese are not sitting around simpering about giving everyone a chance. Enough already.

If diversity and inclusion simply meant casting a wide net to recruit similarly qualified students, employees, potential political candidates, etc., that would be one thing. By adding the word “equity,” however, mandates that less qualified applicants be given preference on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, gender identification, or other attributes unrelated to the skills and abilities needed for the position. Harvard could easily do this by trading faculties with Podunk City College. Would it?

RINOism is like shingles after chickenpox. You think you are in the clear and your path filled with puppies and rainbows. But dormancy is transitory; when you need it them the least RINO pistules pop up.

"Diversity and inclusion" are code words for "keep out white folks, especially men, and NO differences in opinions are permitted".
The Opposite of each word is what they really mean.

So, uh, what happened to the special prosecutor? Why is DOJ responding to Congress? That's not how it worked when a special prosecutor was investigating Nixon and Trump.
