San Francisco reparations panel pitches
$5M — each — to black residents

Original Article

A San Francisco panel studying reparations has proposed a one-time payment of $5 million to each black resident of the city deemed eligible as recompense for the “decades of harm they have experienced,” according to a report on Monday. [Snip] The committee also proposed wiping out all debts associated with educational, personal, credit card, and payday loans for black households. Persons receiving reparations would be exempted.

Comments:

Reparations proponents often advocate a wealth tax, e.g. 35 cents for a cheeseburger ranging up to hundreds of dollars depending on calculations per a required wealth chip mandated for all plastic payment cards.

45,000 black residents of SanFran, at $5 million each, comes to $225 billion. Since the entire SanFran annual budget is about $13 billion, if they don't spend anything except for these vote buying scams, it will take 17 years to pay off. Beyond stupid.

There is a problem. As the City of San Francisco does not have the money to payout those reparations and neither does the State of California. So the next step would be to grab the necessary money in DC, but you have to figure that even the wimpy Republicans who control the House of Representatives, since San Francisco’s Nancy Pelosi is no longer the speaker, would think twice before they would go along with leftist Democrat attempts to appropriate federal money to payoff those San Francisco reparations claims.

The author has an interesting point here. Decades of harm is actually true if you remember what the democrat party has done to the black community, keeping them in poverty, almost like they owned a plantation. This is why DC hates Trump. He actually in just a few months did more to raise the economic standards for the minority community in this nation than the democrats have ever done in at least a century or more.

If you are a person of color, it may be in your interest to go reside in San Francisco for a while. However if you believe they will actually give you a lot of cash then you will probably be very disappointed. They already have plans for how to use that money. They will claim they are using it to fund a non-profit organization in your interest.

Credit card industry representatives have cleared the way for a new means of tracking firearm and ammunition purchases, a move that supporters say will help flag suspicious sales and reduce gun crime. The International Standards Organization, which sets rules across the financial services industry, agreed to create a new merchant category code for gun and ammunition retailers at a meeting this week, and announced the decision Friday. The decision came amid mounting pressure on credit card companies by Democrats in Congress who urged the code's creation.

The late Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin used to tell a story of imprisonment, based perhaps on his own. He said that once behind bars, the prisoner thinks of nothing but freedom, of escaping. Because of this, cruelly sophisticated jailers introduce water into the cell. Now, the enslaved puts freedom off for the moment, seeking first to get rid of the water. From there, the jailers add cockroaches to the poor soul’s misery. Liberty is back-burnered.
