A former British officer criticized Prince Harry’s characterization of his time with the military as "ill-judged" and said it "doesn’t reflect reality." "That’s not the case at all, and it's not the way the British Army trains people as he claims," Col. Richard Kemp, former British Army officer, said during an appearance on BBC Breakfast. "I think that sort of comment that doesn't reflect reality, is misleading and potentially valuable to those people who wish the British forces and British government harm, so I think it was an error of judgment." Kemp, who commanded U.K. forces in Afghanistan in 2003, clarified his comments to Fox News Digital

Comments:

These days, nothing Harry says reflects reality. It reflects Meaghan

I'm not so sure about Meghan, OP. I think Harry is really becoming detached from reality even without her help.

Without the palace p.r. Machine behind him, Harry is showing himself to be the nasty, dim-witted and self-serving individual he always was. Meghan May help to bring out his true colors, but this is all on him.

My dad, and no other man in war, has ever said how many they killed. My dad wouldn't even comment IF he had killed any and I suspect he did because during basic, he kept winning best shot. I also think he might have been a sniper. But never would any real soldier make such a comment. How does he know how many he killed? Did he run around checking out dead bodies and claiming the kill? This man is seriously ill. For once I feel sorry for Charles.

'Arry is a whining self-absorbed jackass, and he is as dumb as his mother was who was always proclaiming 'she wanted to be left alone'!! Right. That is why she phoned the press about her upcoming events, and how she tantalized the press when she was in Paris. Harry and his Hollywood strumpet are the same. Talking as if they were hounded which they are not but actually always looking for ways to promote themselves. Harry is a liar same as his wife. Pot found lid. They know they have to make a lot of money now because in a few years no one wants to hear about a has been actress and a has been if he ever was prince. Just go away, both of you!

I have heard the slang term about men tripping over their own members but never believed it was anatomically possible. Until now. Not only does it appear to be possible, but there is at least one man who can do it repeatedly and then stand up and walk as if nothing happened. Like when he went to a party dressed as a Nazi and insisted he did so with the best of intentions. Or when he was photographed naked in Las Vegas with a high end hooker…er, girlfriend…or when he married a talentless psychopathic Hollywood trollop expecting to engineer a trans-Atlantic kingdom to surpass his brother’s merely British one. Or when he met with Oprah and then Netflix and then publishers to tell his tale of woe from the comfort of his multi-million dollar rental mansion. For some reason, as I write this, the song “Sunny Afternoon” by the Kinks keeps looping through my head. God help Harry ‘n Meghan’s poor kids.

Nobody ever has said the Harry is very smart. Look at it this way, there are millions of very attractive and smart young women in the UK, and across the Commonwealth countries, apparently none of them wanted anything to do with Harry. That should tell you something right there. Then he happened upon Meghan, a California girl, who operated on the fringe of fake Hollywood royalty and who had already been through the mill a number of times, but did not, and apparently still does not have much knowledge of the over one thousand year customs and traditions that the British Royal Family is expected to follow as their duty in return for the respected positions that they hold in the UK and the Commonwealth.

Pure speculation on my part, but I believe Harry is mentally ill and has been drawn into a web of lies and imagined slights by a narcissistic manipulator. He has surrendered his soul to this relationship and is doing immeasurable harm to his personal family, the Monarchy, and his country. He is the kind of guy who needs affirmation and coddling and his family has always protected him from himself. He meets and is captured by this woman who understands his weaknesses and knows she can manipulate him in any way she wishes. He is ensnared in a terribly destructive marriage by a very evil woman who has been playing him since day one. Who goes on a first date with someone and researches the favorite perfume of his dead mother and wears it? To see him out there railing against his family and the monarchy is sad because it is obvious he has been co-opted by a narcissist who will completely use him up. His pride won’t allow him to see her for what she is because the choice to marry her was his. He must stay with her and follow her lead which will result in him becoming nothing but an empty shell of a man. He chose unwisely and now will suffer the consequences. I don’t believe this will end well for him and I would bet that this drama is all part of the Shrew of Sussex’s well thought out plan. Shakespeare could not have written a better scenario. Intrigue and betrayal must be in the genes over there in jolly old England.

The comments that Kemp made were even dumber than the garbage spouted by Harry, who saw the light AFTER meeting Markle. That's actually when his problems began. "Provoke the Taliban?" A snake does not need to be provoked. Some are more passive than others but the Black Mamba comes after you - quickly. No reason necessary. A certain percentage of soldiers will berate the enemy to boost their own bravado but Harry should not have seen much of that at his level. There is also a percentage of racists in the military, imagine that. In general, military units do not employ soldiers for their level of intelligence or morality, just their ability to follow orders and do their jobs. All of this dirty laundry airing should be done outside of the news.

Over the coming weeks, a new band of Republicans will announce themselves as candidates in the next presidential race. The frontrunners will be scrappy populists. Today’s most successful center-right politicians are not only champions of the common man but energetic opponents of the idea that our society needs reordering by credentialed authorities. Ron DeSantis grew up in a blue-collar family, worked his way into Yale with his brains and baseball talent, then went home and built a political career on the idea that “people are able to make decisions on their own.” Florida’s navigation of the COVID crisis, says the governor, established “a blueprint for governance” that rebukes “the entrenched elites”

The frail, mentally incompetent 80-year-old President of the United States wants to serve in the most demanding position in the world for another six years. Unfortunately, this is no joke, as Biden administration insiders are reporting that the President is preparing to soon announce his re-election campaign kickoff. Having President Joe Biden even entertain such a possibility is pure lunacy. Biden is certainly mentally incompetent, and his faculties are in serious decline. For years, Americans have witnessed his never-ending gaffes and his propensity for forgetfulness. Often, he even has difficulty exiting the stage after a speech.

Stop the pearl-clutching, my fellow Republicans. This drama over the House speakership is the best thing that could have happened. Well, maybe not the best thing: that would have been a 30-vote Republican majority in the House. That would have stopped the Democrats' big spending, radical leftist agenda dead in its tracks. That would have let the speaker of the House to tell Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., to pound sand. But the supermajority didn’t happen. So, House Republicans need to change tactics. Schumer is no longer Speaker McCarthy’s biggest obstacle. It’s now his Republican counterpart on the other side of the Capitol–Senate Minority Leader and profligate spender

The ascendance of Rep. The majestic structures of ancient Rome have survived for millennia — a testament to the ingenuity of Roman engineers, who perfected the use of concrete. But how did their construction materials help keep colossal buildings like the Pantheon (which has the world's largest unreinforced dome) and the Colosseum standing for more than 2,000 years? Roman concrete, in many cases, has proven to be longer-lasting than its modern equivalent, which can deteriorate within decades. Now, scientists behind a new study say they have uncovered the mystery ingredient that allowed the Romans to make their construction material so durable and build elaborate structures in challenging places such as docks, sewers and earthquake zones.
