Feel-Good Friday: Flashback to that time
Robin Williams warned us about Joe Biden

Let’s end the first week of 2023 with a laugh. There’s a video clip of a routine the late comedian Robin Williams used to do about Joe Biden during the days of the Obama administration. The video gets dusted off every now and then to remind us that we were warned about Joe Biden during the years before he was elected president. Yet, here we are. Joe Biden is president and getting the last laugh. Here is the video, with a warning. Beware of incoming F-bombs. [Video] That was back in 2009. Biden has only gotten worse.

So making fun of a President with dementia is what makes “Karens” feel good? This is nauseating, not “feel good.” Pathetic all the way around. Repeal the 19th amendment. Not sorry.

I recall people joking about "plugs" biden in the 80s. He's been a gaffe ridden self promoting lying embarrasment for decades. But he's always been a reliable political puppet

#4, if the election was stolen you wouldn't know about it. Everyone knows it but they don't do anything about it. Apparently that is okay and going forward it will get worse.

South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir has been in office since the country became independent in 2011. The 71-year-old had been rumored to be in ill health for months, but during a photo-op in December, Kiir was shown standing during the nation’s national anthem and wetting himself in a most embarrassing way. [Video] Six staffers for the national broadcasting company in South Sudan were arrested by the security service. There were immediate complaints from the trade union representing the staffers that the law, which gives the government the power to hold someone for 24 hours before taking them before a judge, is being violated.

Lia Thomas did it, so why can’t Iszac Henig? Lia is the University of Pennsylvania swimmer who performed indifferently on the men’s team and then proclaimed that he was a woman. Competing on the women’s team, lo and behold, suddenly he became a championship swimmer, breaking records left and right and winning an NCAA swimming championship. It was the strength he got from being transgender and enduring bigotry and hate, right? So we should expect that Iszac Henig, who used to be a female swimmer and now says she is a male, would perform at the same stellar level, right? Well, it didn’t quite turn out that way.

Between 2018 and 2022, movie theater attendance dropped in half, and I do not want to hear any excuses about the pandemic. People will go to the theater to see a movie that appeals to them. Spider-Man: No Way Home proved this last year. Top Gun: Maverick proved it this year. Avatar: Way of the Water is proving it right now. And those are just the blockbusters. People also crept out of their homes to see Everything Everywhere All at Once ($69M), Elvis ($151M), Uncharted ($148M), Nope ($123M), Where the Crawdads Sing ($90M), The Woman King ($67M), Free Guy ($122M), The Lost City ($105M), and Ticket to Paradise ($68M).

Did you know it’s January 6th? No, I don’t mean the date itself. I’d suspect most people know how to use a calendar, but did you remember that today is a day of remembrance supposedly on par with 9/11? Yeah, me neither. As my colleague Susie Moore did, I completely forgot that today was that January 6th, and needless to say, Joe Biden’s attempt to remind everyone did not go well. I mean it really, really did not go well. For instance, the president apparently doesn’t know “January 6th” occurred on January 6th. Instead, Biden brought up “July 6th,” a day that will apparently live in infamy. [Video]

J.K. Rowling can’t lose. Despite attempts by the transgender mob to cancel, break, and destroy the “Harry Potter” author, Rowling seems to best them at every turn and most of the time it’s by sitting back and doing nothing. Case in point, the upcoming action/adventure video game “Hogwarts Legacy” has been generating unceasing hype since its announcement and with each and every demonstration, it only gets more popular. As RedState reported back in August of last year, the pre-orders for the collector’s edition sold out within seconds of being available.

The House speaker circus remained intense on day three, with Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) remaining incapable of cobbling together the votes needed to win. He’s still short of 218, with some 20 Republican House members firmly entrenched in opposition to his speakership bid. The motion to adjourn barely limped passed the finish line, subjecting us to another media day where they claim a deal is close between McCarthy and this bloc of Republicans who are not budging. These 20 rebels have forced the lower chamber to have debates in the last 36 hours than in the past 18 months. The failure of McCarthy to secure the votes is his fault.

As Democrats continue their idiotic mantra that Jan. 6, 2021, was a “deadly” attack on “democracy,” there are some victims about whom the Democrats would not like to talk. That would include the two Trump supporters who died in the riot, Ashli Babbitt and Rosanne Boyland, and the still-abused Jan. 6 political prisoners. Yes, there continue to be victims of Jan. 6, 2021, to this day—over 950 people charged for activities related (sometimes very loosely) to Jan. 6. As PJ Media’s Robert Spencer reported in October, 34 of the Jan. 6 prisoners held in inhumane conditions petitioned to be transferred to Guantanamo Bay because they are being treated worse than terrorists.

Anyone who has ever seen a Hollywood dystopian action flick knows that the more automated life becomes, the closer we are to huddling in giant, underground cities while an elite few humans battle the machines for dominance of the planet. When it comes to law enforcement activities, the use of artificial intelligence takes on a particularly sinister feel. San Francisco recently suspended its killer robot program after Americans discovered it has an actual killer robot program. Robotic aids, not unlike those sent in to examine and contain bombs, had been approved for use against violent suspects in some “extreme situations.”

On the 15th ballot over a series of four days, Rep. Kevin McCarthy finally won the coveted title: Speaker of the House. 'That was easy, huh?' McCarthy began in his victory speech - shortly after South Carolina Representative Mike Rogers had to be held back from attacking Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz. The two Republicans almost came to blows over Gaetz's refusal to back McCarthy during the 14th vote, costing him that contest, with the violent clash coming as tempers frayed over the mammoth voting-process.

Consumers can take a lot, but when you start raising prices on staples like eggs and milk, a definite din begins to rise from the streets. (Snip) Thus ensued an excited conversation between shoppers and the employee posting the new sign that read "$5.49" for a dozen large eggs. That's up from an average national price of $1.72 less than a year ago. The reason eggs are so pricey appears, at face value, to be simple supply and demand: "Millions of birds died. Eggs now cost nearly 50% more." A recent article in Bay Nature magazine is titled "The Latest Bird Flu Pandemic Is Terrible—and Strange."

Republican Kevin McCarthy has been elected as the new US Speaker after winning the 15th vote following chaotic scenes in Congress. Mr McCarthy's party had taken control of the House – the US lower chamber – following the midterm elections in the autumn, with a slim 222-212 majority. Usually, election of the Speaker follows seamlessly, as a formality, with the leader of the largest party a shoo-in for the job. However, recent splits in the Republican party meant that did not happen until the 15th round of voting. In the 14th ballot, Mr McCarthy received 216 votes - one shy of the number needed for a victory - as a small faction

Thomas Massie’s revelation that now-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy agreed, as part of a deal with GOP lawmakers opposed to his speakership bid, to the formation of a committee modeled after the 1975 Senate Select Committee, formed by Senator Frank Church, which investigated abuses by the CIA, FBI, National Security Agency, and the IRS,
