New York City slickers are getting rattled. The 311 hotline saw a 69% s-s-s-urge this year in complaints against snakes and their slippery owners, with 22 cases, up from 13 in 2021. Seven of the “coils” were logged in Manhattan and the Bronx each, followed by six in Brooklyn and one apiece in Queens and Staten Island, the data show. None of the Gotham gripes involved snakes on a train. In the Bronx, a vexing viper was said to have slithered into a residence on Park Avenue and East 172nd Street in Claremont

Doesn't it seem as if the ignoble nobles running our country into the ground are working overtime to dump extra loads of misery before the year ends? Now that they've plunged the country into an energy and heating crisis by tilting at "climate change" windmills, coal was too valuable to waste on these scrooges' Christmas stockings. Let them survive on frozen wind turbines and snowdrift-covered solar panels!

Imagine being a speechwriter for a so-called “devout Catholic” president and being asked to write a Christmas speech. It sounded like the first instruction was: don’t say the words “Jesus Christ.”
There’s mention of “the birth of a child — a child Christians believe to be the son of God; miraculously now, here among us on Earth, bringing hope, love and peace and joy to the world.” There are citations of “O Holy Night” and “Hark the Herald Angels Sing,” but there’s no “Jesus.”

Over the Christmas weekend four different power plants in Washington state were sabotaged, cutting power for thousands of residents in frigid winter temperatures.
"The search continued Monday for vandals who targeted four power substations on Christmas Day in Pierce County, Washington, setting fire to at least one of the facilities and knocking out power to more than 14,000 utility customers, authorities said,"ABC News reports. "Two of the break-ins were at Tacoma Public Utilities substations and two others were at a Puget Sound Energy station, according to the sheriff's office in Pierce County, which encompasses Tacoma. No arrests have been announced."
