After Georgia runoff results, here's what
to expect from Senate, House for next
two years

Now that the U.S. Senate run-off in Georgia between Herschel Walker and Sen. Raphael Warnock is behind us, the final results of the 2022 midterm elections are in. This is an opportune moment to examine what happened at the polls and what we can expect from the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives in the 118th Congress starting in January 2023. With incumbent Raphael Warnock’s victory, Democrats will return to Washington with a 51 to 49 majority in the U.S. Senate. Although Senate Democrats only managed a net pick-up of one seat this election cycle despite an extremely favorable map, that lone seat carries with it great significance.

The Senate will be a continuing horror show. POSSIBLY, the House may restrain them slightly from ripping through our rights and freedoms at quite the full pace.

“So, don’t expect much in the way of great legislative achievements and bill signings over the next two years.” Which is good news, since we don’t need more legislation from Congress since most of these 1500 to 2700 pages jwon’t be read, let alone understood, before voting occurs. Especially when Biden decides which laws to ignore or abuse. Biden’s anti-energy, anti-economic growth and anti-constitutional executive orders and agency regulations can be challenged in court

With 40 piece Judases like the Turtle, Romney and Collins in their midst, I don't think the Republicans are losing much. What is critical is that before 2024 the Republicans must arm themselves with a strong capability to play the before and after Election Day game on the ground. Otherwise all is lost. Electing Harmeet Dhillon to RNC chair will be a good start.

Assuming this election was fair and honest, Democrats better wise up before the 2024 Presidential election by coming to clear realization that the Biden administration is intentionally taking our country down, and Democrats will equally suffer the consequences. Believing that "No matter what, everything will work out fine" is naïve and dangerous. We are approaching a tipping point whereby the depth of the fall may be irreversible.

...and Democrats will be very busy defending eight vulnerable seats in the states of West Virginia (Manchin), Arizona (Sinema), Montana (Tester), Nevada (Rosen), Ohio (Brown), Pennsylvania (Casey)... Arizona? Nevada? Pennsylvania? Why would Bossie think that the 2024 outcome in those states would be any different than 2022?

Is it me or does this so-called reporter at Fox News seem relieved and secretly pleased that his buds in Washington , the democrat death communists stole another election? Seems to me if he was a truth seeking reporter his story would be focused on the corrupt election theft. No such luck.

Why is it so hard for Fox to understand that Democrats game the election system. They don't win anything without cheating. Now they are piling on Trump and millions of Americans that demand honesty in government. No American citizens are turning away from Trump, Trumpism or the Constitution.

Trash America and loot its citizens of their ethics and their productive, peaceful society seems to be their agenda. Mmm mmm mmm

The second installment of Elon Musk's so-called "Twitter Files" shed light on the company's practices of secretly "blacklisting" certain tweets and users. "A new #TwitterFiles investigation reveals that teams of Twitter employees build blacklists, prevent disfavored tweets from trending, and actively limit the visibility of entire accounts or even trending topics—all in secret, without informing users," journalist Bari Weiss began her thread on Thursday. "Twitter once had a mission ‘to give everyone the power to create and share ideas and information instantly, without barriers.’ Along the way, barriers nevertheless were erected," Weiss wrote. She pointed to Stanford University's Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, a longstanding opponent of COVID groupthink during the pandemic

The Georgia runoff is over. Raphael Warnock came out on top (as expected). And Republicans are once again running the “quality candidate” canard as the reason for Herschel Walker’s loss (in addition to the overblown, overused, Trump scapegoat). Yet despite the fact Walker was outspent by Warnock nearly 3 to 1 (Warnock spent $126,232,942 to Walker’s $48,455,356), Walker performed remarkably well, netting 48.6 percent of the vote to Warnock’s 51.4 percent. This as Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp only came out in full force for Walker after he coasted to reelection in November (loaning his field organizing team to the Senate Leadership Fund — the GOP’s Senate super PAC which backed Walker).

The GOP lawmakers, led by House Freedom Caucus Chairman Rep. Scott Perry of Pennsylvania and Rep. Chip Roy of Texas, outlined their demands in a letter circulated to colleagues late Thursday. In 2010, the former "Desperate Housewives" star claimed he was fired three days into filming the ABC series "Scoundrels" because he wouldn’t agree to on-screen sex scenes. While the show only ran for one season, the 56-year-old said he was blacklisted from the industry. As McDonough struggled, he always felt that God had a better plan for him. After being faced with "a hard few years" trying to find work, he received a call from screenwriter Graham Yost who offered him to star in "Justified." Since then, McDonough has kept busy

Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock will defeat Republican challenger Herschel Walker in Georgia's high stakes Senate runoff election, The Associated Press projects. While the Senate majority has already been decided, Warnock's victory in the last ballot box showdown of the 2022 midterm elections gives the Democrats a 51-49 margin in the chamber and a bit of breathing room in their razor-thin control of the Senate. "Thank you, Georgia. We did it again," Warnock tweeted soon after his victory was projected.

Every Georgian must vote on Dec. 6 – especially Republicans and independents. The U.S. Senate runoff is too important to skip. Herschel Walker’s election is crucial to Georgia and all of America. Despite some misconceptions that the Georgia runoff won’t have a major impact, the difference between a 50-50 Senate and a 51-49 Senate is enormous. Vice President Kamala Harris can break ties on the Senate floor – but not in committees. With 51 seats, Democrats would control every committee. They would be able to report out judges and other Biden administration appointees without needing any Republican votes. They would be able to schedule hearings and

President Biden has a civics lesson that he is fond of and regularly repeats. It is about how the United States is unique in the world because of the founding ideals enshrined in the Declaration of Independence. “Unlike every other nation on Earth, we were founded based on an idea,” he notes before adding that “while we’ve never fully lived up” to those principles, “we have never given up on them.” An overwhelming majority of Americans, 89%, agree that a civics education about those founding principles is “very important.” And yet, a similar majority across the political spectrum, 71%, do not believe that their children receive “an honest picture” of American history
