Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock will defeat Republican challenger Herschel Walker in Georgia's high stakes Senate runoff election, The Associated Press projects. While the Senate majority has already been decided, Warnock's victory in the last ballot box showdown of the 2022 midterm elections gives the Democrats a 51-49 margin in the chamber and a bit of breathing room in their razor-thin control of the Senate.
"Thank you, Georgia. We did it again," Warnock tweeted soon after his victory was projected.

Did anyone expect a different outcome? I mean, come on. First of all, Herschel was a great football player/athlete. Otherwise, what were his qualifications for office? And a closet full of skeletons. Not the best candidate. Secondly, Georgia elections are rigged. Good candidate or bad, Herschel was never going to win.
Welcome to hell.

Thought judge said ballots could be counted 3 days after election. So weâre all those drop box ballots counted? Or just not needed by the Dems. Republicans never learn. Shoujd have stuffed those boxes weeks before the election.

Sorry Herschel. You deserved better than the Republican party that refused to be completely committed to your campaign. Btw, where do all the Walker supporters now go for representation at the national level? Certainly not Warnock. In other words, they have no representation.

Walker was never a viable candidate for the Senate. All he brought to the table was his name recognition and his skin color. The Republicans suck at retail politics.

The RINO backstabbers won. If you believe anything else you deserve to lose some more.

It's hard to believe that Walker was the best the GA Pubs could come up with. Neither of those two deserved to win!

Another hand-picked Trump candidate goes down, another state we didn't have to lose. I appreciate the former president for saving us from Hillary but have been forced to accept that he is a one-man wrecking crew for the Republican Party.

Dems outspent Republicans by something like 3X or 4X in this runoff and in the prior election in November. Mitch McConnell and the RNC have to answer for that. The seat was there for the taking, but they were unwilling to go "all in" for Walker. Shameful.

We can't get rid of McConnell (yet), but we can get rid of Ronna.
We need a street fighter to lead the RNC.

A more accurate headline would be: âGOPe, once again complicit with democrat ballot harvesting in Georgia run-off, in another attempt to quash conservative populism.â
Canât imagine why Fox went with a different headline.

A half million fewer voters voted in the run off than voted in the general election. Walker got about 200,000 votes less than he got in November. Warnock got about 100,000 fewer votes than in November. Walker lost because Republicans didn't turn out. Had Walker gotten as many votes as he did in November, he would be senator elect right now.
Warnock didn't steal the election. Republicans didn't turn out. Period, full stop.

RE Reply 2: "...what were his qualifications for office?"
Good Lord, I am so bloody tired of that phrase. Article 1, Section 3 of the Constitution clearly states the "qualifications" of a U. S. Senator:
"No Person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained
to the Age of thirty Years, and been nine Years a Citizen of
the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an
Inhabitant of that State for which he shall be chosen."
That's it, kiddies. That's it and that's all. There are NO other qualifications to be a Senator. Period. Full stop.
Herschel Walker:
Age of thirty years? He is Sixty years old?
Check.
Nine Years a Citizen of the United States? Sixty years a citizen.
Check.
...when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State for which he shall be chosen? Born, raised and long time resident of the State of Georgia.
Check.
So, Mr. Walker most assuredly fulfills the Constitutional qualifications to be a Senator.
Ooooh, now I get it! He is not qualified to be a Senator because of his lack of "experience in politics". In other words, he did not spend his entire life dragging on the government teat while rabidly seeking stolen wealth and illegitimate power over other people's lives. Mr. Walker actually held real jobs in the real world.
Patriotic Citizens of the United States (and I am certain in other countries, as well) have had quite enough of people who meet the qualification of "experience". Paragons of good government such as Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, John McCain, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Et al. People who spent their entire lives shoving their filthy snouts deeper and deeper into the taxpayer's trough. Those types should not be reelected; they should be arrested, indicted, tried, convicted and sentenced in a court of law to long prison terms or perhaps something more "severe".
In my somewhat less than humble opinion, the greatest president in my lifetime had ZERO experience in politics. If you disagree, I cannot begin to tell you how little I care. That is all.

#14, go change your diaper. You may not need any qualifications, but I for one would at least have some idea of how they might vote. Not how they say they might vote.
And as for your rant about "pigs in the trough", you don't have to be up in that cesspool long to get rich. See Warnock and AOC as prime examples.
And if you think Trump is not controlled by the same globalist bankers as all of the other scum in DC, you better wake up.

#15: As per your request, I have changed my diaper. Quite comfy now. Now that I have completed my assigned task, may I inquire as to your current GS Pay Grade. You are obviously one of our dedicated public "servants", defending your prime position at the federal trough.
