A concealed carry holder shot two teenagers who were trying to rob him Monday morning in Austin, according to Chicago police.
The man, 56, was in his car in the 4700 block of West Arthington Avenue when three teens approached in another car just before 6 a.m., police said.
The incident unfolded around 6 a.m. in the city’s west side when a vehicle with "three males inside" approached the victim, who was inside his own vehicle, Chicago Police told Fox News Digital in a statement.
"One of the individuals got out of the vehicle, pointed a firearm at the victim and demanded his belongings," police said.
On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Republican National Lawyers Association Chair and founder and CEO of the Center for American Liberty Harmeet Dhillon announced she is running for chair of the RNC and argued that, among other things, Republicans must “modernize to compete with the Democrats dollar-for-dollar in the ways they fundraise, the way they deliver their ballots to the ballot boxes.” And “the party needs to realize that the party has become a populist party.”

Taiwan-based TSMC will also announce its commitment to construct a second fab that will produce three-nanometer chips.
Apple CEO Tim Cook and Advanced Micro Devices CEO Lisa Su will also be in attendance Tuesday. Cook and Su will both be sourcing significant chips from TSMC's Arizona facility, White House National Economic Council Director Brian Deese said in a briefing.
Deese said TSMC's announcement furthers Biden's economic agenda that he says goes beyond semiconductors.

Kyle Rittenhouse said he was hopeful that what he described as Twitter’s censorship campaign against him would be exposed just days after CEO Elon Musk released the "Twitter Files."
"Learning about the twitter files and @elonmusk releasing the truth is making me more and more curious to find out if there was hidden censoring regarding my story and case on twitter. I am hoping, one day soon, I will be able to find out and the truth will be shown to all of us," he wrote.

Er … no, not really. Nor do I think for a moment that we will need to prepare for it, either. John Bolton practically epitomizes seriousness, but this interlude between midterms and presidential primaries — shrinking as it is — is not called the “silly season” for no good reason.
Bolton kinda-sorta threw his hat in the ring yesterday, or more accurately, announced that he would consider tossing his hat in the ring, yada yada yada. Bolton wants to goad other Republicans into fighting Trump now over his remarks about “terminating” the Constitution, while at the same time misrepresenting what’s actually happening among GOP elected officials:

Why would you think Biden is even aware of any border or border crisis? He only knows what he's told to say by the voices in his earpiece and that if he's a good boy (and doesn't have an "accident" in public) he can have sprinkles on his ice cream. Biden may have been installed in the White House as the de jure "President" but he is in no way the de facto President.
