Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD) said Tuesday on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” that running for president would not “immunize” former President Donald Trump from being prosecuted.
Cooper asked, “You’ve been uniquely positioned over the past several years as someone who understands the legal and constitutional issues swirling around the former president. If he is making this announcement in part believing that this will somehow protect him from investigations or indictments, is that accurate, do you think?” Raskin said, “No, it’s absolutely wrong. In fact, the people who made that point most emphatically were his defenders in the Senate during the second impeachment trial, who said that the proper way

They can't indict Trump if he is running for office. That would be election tampering. Isn't that what we were told when PIAPS was running in 2016?

One way or another jamie benefited from the rat money laundering via Ukraine. Being a congressman won't protect him. Also, what did jamie know about the 10,000 fake ballots in Maryland?

Shut up Raskin, your time is over. You have nothing on Trump even after 2 nothing burger impeachments and raiding his home. It’s high time for investigation of your party’s corruption.

The democrats have taken so many shots at President Trump that continuing on that path is expected by him and his faithful followers.
The concept of Making America Great is very frightening to democrats.

Well it seems that elections do immunize real crooks, for that would explain why you refuse to deal with the Biden crime family corruption.

Raskin will not escape prosecution for participating in an illegal show trial led by Liz Cheney and enabled by Nancy Pelosi.

Hmmmmm.....investigating a presidential candidate, before the first primary vote had been cast, was an impeachable offense three years ago. Something about election interference......
Whats changed? Oh right! We have to save democracy. And if that means killing democracy to prevent bad orange man from running and ensure democrat ballot counting wins, they are all in.
At least Lizz Cheney will have something to do for the next year to two years.

Poor muskrat on top of his head Raskin. Despite all of his and his cohort's corruption, manipulation and fearmongering PDJT is still standing. It must really burn old Muskrat Head up that all he can do now is issue empty threats. Too bad for him and the rest of the fetid democrats.

and for what, pray tell comrade jamie, will you prosecute our President for, this time, you tried, twice, to impeach him and hit a brick wall, now the January 6th committee is fangless so, you are a bow without an arrow, give it up because the people of this country have seen the hypocrisy in the demcommie party and want nothing to do with it.

And so the games begin. Easily predictable. The only question is whether New York indicts before or after Christmas on fraud charges. Who needs a crime to indict?
