Watch: Fetterman Recreated ‘Mean’
Joe Greene Coke Commercial in Bizarre Ad

Pennsylvania Democrat John Fetterman recreated the classic 1979 Coca-Cola advertisement featuring football legend ‘Mean’ Joe Greene in a bizarre video during his failed 2016 U.S. Senate campaign. The original Coca-Cola advertisement began with Greene, a Pittsburgh Steelers legend, hobbling down the tunnel after a game when a child approaches him to offer a coke. Greene accepts it and tosses this child his jersey, saying, “thanks, kid.” In an attempt to use the classic commercial and the Steelers’ popularity to appeal to Western Pennsylvania voters, the Democrat recreated the advertisement in 2016 in a low-quality video entitled “‘Mean John’ Fetterman.” Fetterman stumbles down a hallway grabbing to the wall for support

Comments:

This takes the "cringe moment" to a WHOLE new level!! I can't believe his team thought that this was s good idea!! I also wonder if Coca Cola gave them permission to use the concept and the music. Could be copyright troubles coming down the pike.

Unfortunately, Fetterman has an ad pointing out several things about Dr. Oz that comes across very well and connects with average, every day, casual, last-minute voters. Such as, Oz lived in New Jersey for either 20 or 30 years and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It calls him "Hollywood Oz" It won't be long...

I know Super Bowl ads have gotten really sophisticated and techy but the Mean Joe Coke ad is still my favorite of them all. And Fetterman's ads about Dr. Oz not being a "Pennsylvania Guy" as he is reminds me how the Dems didn't care a bit about carpetbagging when Hillary scurried up to NY to run for (maybe steal) that open Senate seat. Hypocrisy, thy name is Democrat.

The new Florida election crimes unit is on the job sniffing out fraud with the all-important midterm elections only days away and has announced the arrest of a woman who faces felony charges for casting ballots in two states in the same election cycle. On Friday, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement announced that 55-year-old Cheryl Ann Leslie of Loxahatchee, a registered Democrat, was charged with voting in both Florida and Alaska in the 2020 state and federal primary elections. According to an FDLE press release, “Inspectors with FDLE’s Election Crime Unit today arrested Cheryl Ann Leslie, 55, of Loxahatchee, on two counts of casting more than one ballot in an election.

The Canadian healthcare system is experiencing an acute shortage of basic painkillers, particularly acetaminophen and ibuprofen, which are commonly used to relieve pain and fever in children during flu season. Canada’s Association of Medical Assistance in Dying Assessors and Providers (CAMAP) chose this perhaps awkward moment to roll out a webinar for healthcare professionals that advised them to offer assisted suicide to their suffering patients. As Canada’s National Post noted, doctors around the world are normally “explicitly prohibited or strongly discouraged” from bringing up the subject of euthanasia, even in jurisdictions where assisted suicide is legal. Beginning with a “guidance document” published in 2019, CAMAP asserted that, on the contrary,

The Biden Administration will be known to history for many things: an open border and its deadly consequences, the abandonment of Afghanistan, weakness that led to catastrophe in Europe, skyrocketing inflation, and the use of federal law enforcement to target political opponents. The catalog of infamy goes on. Above all, though, this administration may be remembered for its duplicity — its continual, shameless “gaslighting” of the American people. Biden, his team, and his sycophantic media supporters repeatedly tell us that “all is well” where it manifestly is not. No matter how bad things become in the nation, no matter how many people suffer, reality has no purchase

As we draw closer to polling day, there is really only one question anyone needs to have in their head. Are things better or worse than when America last went to the polls? The problem is that you can answer that differently state by state. A lot of people who fled California in the last couple of years, for instance, can say that their lives have improved by moving to Tennessee, Florida or Texas. So let me narrow the question down a bit. Can anybody in any Democratic-run city honestly say that their lives — and city — have improved over the last couple of years? That’s a slightly easier question.

Seven months ago, an intrepid PJ Media columnist with wonderful hair opined that the transgender movement would bring down the ultra-commies running the Democrat party. While the Democrats were attacking white Christians for believing women are women and men are not, they never thought the Muslim community might have a say in all this. They do. We are less than a week before the midterms, and the Democrats are in panic mode. They didn’t learn from Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s victory last November — don’t mess with people’s kids — and they didn’t see themselves possibly losing Michigan. Wayne County, Mich., which includes Detroit, has been a fortress for Democrats for decades.

I guess it was just a matter of time, but doing it three days before the mid-terms seems less than ideal. Donald Trump held a rally in Pennslyvania tonight, but as usual, the candidates running for office were an afterthought. Instead, the former president spent the majority of the time talking about himself. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. It’s a Trump rally after all, and to be sure, they can be very entertaining. Former President Barack Obama insisted Saturday that Pennsylvania Lt. Gov John Fetterman was fit to serve in the US Senate despite the lingering effects of a stroke suffered in May. Fetterman is facing Republican opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz in a tight contest for the Keystone state’s open Senate seat. “John’s stroke did not change who he is, it didn’t change what he cares about, it didn’t change his values, his heart, his fight,” Obama said during a rally in Pittsburgh. “It doesn’t change who he will represent when he gets to the United States Senate. He’ll represent you. And that’s what you deserve.”

Some advertisers are concerned that Mr. Musk could scale back content moderation, which they worry would lead to an increase in objectionable content on the platform. Others are temporarily halting their ads because of the uncertainty at the company as top executives exit and Mr. Musk considers a raft of changes, some of the people said.
