Even Democrat Analysts Are Starting to
Acknowledge the Red Wave

Original Article

Despite proclamations of a Democrat “comeback” during the summer, it was always only a matter of time before pollsters and analysts started to “correct” the record just before the election. Sure, they pushed absolute garbage for months, misleading the public in order to prop up a partisan narrative, but now, they’ve got to make sure they get things somewhat right before the votes are actually cast. Their future credibility depends on it. That’s the game we seem to play every election cycle, where polling shows Democrats surging when it’s hot outside but fading as the leaves begin to change. It’s almost like there are predictable ebbs

Dems have been trying to whistle past the graveyard. As stated, the default result is that Republicans would gain some seats, likely enough (6) to be a majority in the House. There was NO good news to tip that typical result more to the dems favor, except for, perhaps, the Dobbs decision. There is a TON of news to make the results tilt in favor of the Republicans. Most of the economy is the worst it has been in 40 years. Inflation particularly has impacted EVERYONE SIGNIFICANTLY. People who have been living on the edge are being pushed over a cliff. Further, it is not just matter of dems not doing enough to "fix" inflation, there is strong evidence that dems CAUSED the problem. Further, the stock market is tanking. All retirees are seeing their retirement plans (including pension plans) drop 15% or more instead of growing the normal 7%, a 22+% gap in expectations. Note that this income that retirees DEPEND ON and they are past the point where they can recover it through pay deductions. This is likely to be a long term devaluation in assets and it has been CAUSED by dems. You could say that the dems stole their retirement. Then there are a plethora of issues like crime, illegal immigration, etc. where dems actions have CAUSED the problems. Let's not forget that Brandon is cluelessly wandering around Washington making statements that have to be walked back, saying things that are flat out lies, calling for the destruction of his political enemies, and angrily castigating large swaths of Americans who politically disagree with him. He is a stumbling advertisement for who you DO NOT want in office. He's not up for election but he represents his party of which many are up for election. All this adds up to a much stronger Republican win in November than typical and it has all year. Pundits and pollsters reporting otherwise have been lying to the public and that is no surprise. These people are as much dem propagandists as anything else. This shows why no one should trust them and why they are finding it harder to get Republican voters to talk to them. No one trusts them.

While we should never count our chickens until they are fully out of their shells, there is almost unanimous agreement among the major polling groups that the GOP should be able to retake the majority in the House next month. (Insert the standard caveat about how bad the polling has been of late here.) If that happens, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy still appears to be the odds-on favorite to be the next Speaker, though that assumption also comes with a few caveats. Some of the GOP members in the lower chamber have clearly been feeling their oats and have been starting to suggest that Joe Biden might be impeached

Former Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean claimed Thursday on MSNBC’s “The Beat” that the Democrats will increase their majorities in both the U.S Senate and House in November’s midterm election. Dean said, “I’ll make this prediction right now we’ll pick up two to three in the Senate and pick up House. We will pick up seats in the House and not lose them. I think we will take two more than we have today n the House. It’s just because when you see these early turnout figures, and you better be one of them if you’re watching this, that is a very good thing for people who are angry,

Justice Amy Coney Barrett on Thursday rejected an emergency request by a group of Wisconsin taxpayers to block the enforcement of President Biden’s student-loan forgiveness plan. Barrett, who typically fields emergency bids from Wisconsin, acted alone without referring the case to the rest of the Supreme Court bench or seeking a response from the government. On Wednesday, the plaintiffs challenging Biden’s student-debt wipeout, which would effectively erase up to $10,000 in loans for graduates who earn less than $125,000 a year, filed an emergency petition to stop the government from implementing the plan pending litigation in the lower courts.

Elon Musk could be set to slash Twitter’s headcount drastically once his $44 billion deal for the social network goes through. The mega-billionaire has told potential investors in the Twitter deal that he plans to lay off almost 75% the company’s staff, or about 5,500 employees, to reduce the size of its workforce from 7,500 to just over 2,000, the Washington Post reported, citing anonymous sources and documents. Reps for Twitter and Musk did not respond to requests for comment. On Tesla’s third-quarter 2022 earnings call Wednesday, Musk said he was paying too much for Twitter. Earlier this month he agreed to go forward with his original $54.20/share offer

The modern Republican Party's one non-negotiable value is this: the ruthless pursuit of power. Party leaders who recognize this prosper while those who hold principle over political advancement get swept away. The latest Republican rising star to learn this lesson is Glenn Youngkin. A year ago, pundits were praising Virginia's governor for finding a way to win a blue state while keeping ex-President Donald Trump at arm's length and for creating a Republican campaign blueprint not based on outright election denialism. Yet on Wednesday, Youngkin had an arm around Kari Lake, the new GOP sensation and ultra-MAGA

The third-quarter CNBC All-America Economic Survey finds some modest improvements in economic attitudes and in President Joe Biden’s approval ratings across the country, but Americans still harbor mostly negative views on the economy and give the GOP double-digit leads on key economic and financial issues ahead of the November elections. Biden’s overall approval rating improved 10 points from the July survey with 46% approving and 50% disapproving. Approval of Biden’s handling of the economy also rose 10 points, with 40% approving and 56% disapproving. While they were the president’s best numbers since 2021, the improvement came largely from increased Democratic support. Approval by independents

Utah voters who tuned into Monday night’s Senate debate were treated to something relatively rare in the 2022 election: a candidate putting Jan. 6, 2021, front and center in his closing argument. Independent Evan McMullin seized upon texts Sen. The ACIP voted to add the COVID-19 injections to the childhood schedule, which determines what vaccines a state mandates for children to attend school. Main stream media is pretending that states determine what vaccines are used, but the truth is that pediatricians use the CDC schedule and state public health officials use this schedule. State public health systems use the schedule to determine which vaccines to require for children to enter schools. Yes, some states have more stringent requirements than others. Some states allow for “opt-outs,” but in the end, most states follow the CDC guidelines. The ACIP functionally establishes “standard of care” in this area.

Given the state of America in 2022, conservatives should stop calling themselves conservatives. Why? Because the conservative project has largely failed, and it is time for a new approach. Conservatives have long defined their politics in terms of what they wish to conserve or preserve--individual rights, family values, religious freedom, and so on.(Snip)To talk of defending “religious freedom” is to misapprehend that the real risk today is widespread irreligion, which will leave so few religious Americans in the coming generations that the government and large corporations will inevitably--and easily--persecute them.
