Biden claims inflation ‘averaged 2%’
— after data shows 8.2% annual jump

Washington - The White House tried to fudge the numbers Thursday after newly released data revealed that consumer prices jumped by 8.2% year-over-year last month — with President Biden insisting he’s made “progress” tackling the problem and that inflation really is on a 2% trajectory. “Today’s report shows some progress in the fight against higher prices, even as we have more work to do,” Biden said in a written statement. “Inflation over the last three months has averaged 2%, at an annualized rate. That’s down from 11% in the prior quarter.” Critics blasted the message as deceptive and reminiscent of Biden’s August claim that there was “zero inflation”

Biden and Fetterman have the same problem the inability to comprehend. Sure the decimal percentage change in inflation fluctuating from 8.3 to 8.8 to 8.5 etc. may have averaged two percent, but that’s a sleight of hand, because the number on the left side of the decimal has been a solid 8 for a year. 2% growth of inflation doesn't require the huge increase in SNAP benefits, so I guess it's blatant vote buying, right Joe?

As we’ve previously noted, nearly 70% of likely 2022 voters say that the high price of groceries is influencing their motivation to vote. This spells doom for Joe Biden and the Democrats in November. However, Bidenflation will not only influence voters’ decisions in November. It will also, regrettably, have an effect on the Thanksgiving dinner. More than a third of Americans, according to a survey by Personal Capital, will be eating less at Thanksgiving this year, with 88% of Americans planning to eliminate at least one dish from their traditional Thanksgiving spread in an effort to save money. But, as Personal Capital notes, “with financial strain and tightened budgets, the easiest way to save

At the Georgia Senate debate Friday night, GOP candidate Herschel Walker denied the recent allegations that he paid for an ex-girlfriend’s abortion, and he challenged “pro-choice pastor” and incumbent Democrat Raphael Warnock to square the high black abortion rate in the state with his support for “Black Lives Matter.” “He told me Black Lives Matter,” Walker said of his opponent. “There’s more black babies aborted than anything, so if black lives matter, why are you not protecting those babies?” Walker was asked to address the bombshell report, released by the Daily Beast last week, of an anonymous woman who claimed Walker paid for the abortion

I’ve got a confession to make. When I saw that Republican Herschel Walker had accepted a debate with Democrat incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock, I wasn’t exactly enthused. Yes, to some extent, Walker’s communication issues have been overstated, but no one was ever going to confuse him for a charismatic speaker, and certainly, no one thought he would be a good debater. The running assumption for the month leading up to the event has been simple: Walker would be lucky to get out alive, and absolutely no one was entertaining the possibility that he could excel. In a shocking twist

Rupert Murdoch is considering whether to recombine his media empire. The 91-year old media mogul is contemplating a merger of Fox Corp. and News Corp., a deal that — if it happens –would bring the entertainment and media brands together a decade after they were split apart, according to The Wall Street Journal. Fox Corp. owns the Fox broadcast network, Fox News, Fox Sports, among other ancillary businesses, while News Corp. houses The Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones, News UK, the New York Post, Realtor.com, HarperCollins and the Australian pay-TV company FoxTel.

Truth, justice, and the American way. That’s what Superman originally stood for, and that’s what people loved about the iconic comic book character. But we live in a different era nowadays. Radical, toxic, left-wing propaganda is all the craze. So, when the news broke that a version of Superman was going to be bisexual in a new comic book, Superman: Son of Kal-El, it caused quite a stir. That controversy didn’t transfer over into profitability, however. DC Comics announced it would no longer be printing the bisexual Superman comic due to low readership, the Washington Examiner reported. While it may break the heart of every left-wing and LGBT fanatic,

GOP Rep. Mike Garcia holds one of House Republicans’ most vulnerable districts. But Democrats have barely spent a dime on TV to take him down. The decision, according to those involved, was driven by a relative lack of resources: As Republicans’ biggest House super PAC floods the election with hundreds of millions of dollars, their Democratic counterparts have lagged far behind. Some members of the California Democratic delegation were alarmed by the decision to leave Garcia’s district untouched — and they have urged their party’s campaign arm in recent weeks not to abandon a seat that President Joe Biden won by double digits, according to multiple people familiar with the discussions.

“The problem with living under postmodernism,” Dean Hunter Baker commented, “is that everyone is constantly tending the narrative instead of doing something useful.” It does seem that way, especially if you run in my circles. But of course, plenty of people are doing something useful. The world is full of those whose diligent and largely unsung work makes the lights stay on, the grocery shelves fill with food, the toilets flush and even the Internet run. They have been ignored, denigrated and even subjected to a species of economic warfare for the last several decades, but suddenly people are starting to notice that they matter.

Denial is no longer possible: FBI headquarters not only pumped up the Russiagate scandal knowing none of the “evidence” held up, it then turned around to help deep-six actual evidence of Hunter Biden crimes that tainted now-President Joe ahead of the 2020 election.  The latest revelations come from special counsel John Durham’s prosecution of “Steele dossier” gofer Igor Danchenko. Specifically, disgraced FBI analyst Brian Auten testified that the FBI dangled $1 million for Christopher Steele to verify at least part of his package of allegations against Trump — all of which, we now know, came from Danchenko’s water-cooler gossip with pals in DC.

Never let a crisis go to waste, Rahm Emanuel once advised. Add to that this new axiom: Never let your emergency powers expire. As incompetent as Joe Biden might otherwise be, he’s proven adept at following both. Again: The Biden administration extended the Covid-19 pandemic’s status as a public health emergency for another 90 days, preserving measures such as expanded Medicaid and higher payments to hospitals. The decision follows comments President Biden made in September describing the pandemic as over. Some Republican lawmakers said afterward that the administration should wind down its pandemic response and the emergency designation.

Washington — Since they first started arriving in Ukraine last spring, the Starlink satellite internet terminals made by Elon Musk’s SpaceX have been a vital source of communication for Ukraine’s military, allowing it to fight and stay connected even as cellular phone and internet networks have been destroyed in its war with Russia. So far roughly 20,000 Starlink satellite units have been donated to Ukraine, with Musk tweeting on Friday the “operation has cost SpaceX $80 million and will exceed $100 million by the end of the year.” But those charitable contributions could be coming to an end, as SpaceX has warned the Pentagon that it may stop funding the service

"We've noted that flu activity is starting to increase across much of the country," especially in the Southeast and south-central U.S., the CDC's director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, told NBC News. "Not everybody got flu vaccinated last year, and many people did not get the flu. So that makes us ripe to have potentially a severe flu season."(Snip)"Flu is on the rise, but it's also all of these other viruses that got knocked off kilter," Esper said.
