Joe Biden, the nominal head of the Democratic Party, is 79. But he increasingly acts and sounds 89. Recently, Biden has pivoted repeatedly on stage with his arm outstretched to shake the hand—of someone not there. On one recent occasion Biden called out for Representative Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) who passed away in a car crash in early August. He was insistent, shouting to the crowd, “Jackie, are you here? Where’s Jackie? I think she wasn’t going to be here—to help make this a reality.” Biden’s fantasy was the reality that Rep. Walorski is no longer with us. Biden slurs his words. He truncates sentences.

We’re up to our elbows in weird Biden moments. I wrote earlier about Biden’s comments about gas prices in Los Angeles weirdly having something to do with housing. Then he claimed gas had always been around $7.00 there when indeed it’s up since last week and it’s more than three dollars more on average than it was under President Donald Trump. He also seemed to verbally threaten Saudi Arabia saying he had some things to say to them while refusing to say what those things were.
You would think that he’d be going to battleground
Politics is fun, isn’t it? You can play with the truth all you want, and, as long as you’re a member of the right party, you can throw all the crap you want against a wall just to see what sticks. And no one of any significance will say a word.
Of course, that’s only true if you’re a Democrat. That’s why when Joe Biden deadpanned that prices would rise if Republicans were elected, no one laughed — out loud, at least.

If we tried to highlight every bizarre or delusional thing Joe Biden says, we wouldn’t have time for anything else. But who can resist occasionally mocking Slow Joe? Yesterday Biden was in Los Angeles and risked going out in public. The New York Post reports:
“The inflation report is out. Have you seen gas prices around here in LA? It’s 7 bucks a gallon almost,” a reporter said after Biden handed a cashier three $20 bills for a $16.45 order of six tacos and two quesadillas. “Well, that’s always been the case here,” Biden replied.
“Always” meaning since I, Slow Joe, became president. That line, while false, at least was coherent.

The ad brands National Right to Life a "powerful extremist group" because it is urging Congress to pass what the ad terms a "national abortion ban."

Gregory Hahn, 47, along with 98 other candidates for jury orientation, showed up at the Harnett County courthouse on Monday. Most prospective jurors, including Hahn, were not wearing masks, he recalled.
