Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s husband, Perry Greene, has filed for a divorce.
The congresswoman and her husband had been married for over 27 years.
Business Insider reports that “in his petition, Perry Greene wrote that he and the congresswoman had been in a ‘bona-fide state of separation’ before he filed the papers in Floyd County, Georgia.”
The filing also said that the marriage is “irretrievably broken.”

Her stance against the dems is all I need to know, her personal life is her business.

27 years is a really long time. No one knows what they're up against.
These crosses we carry through a broken world are heavy. Sometimes, sadly, even a good family of good people can get crushed by the weight.
May God bless the Greene family with peace and healing.

But isn’t it true that it is the DUTY of parents to be “amazing” and isn’t it sad that “amazing” is defined by the fact that so few parents actually do their DUTY?

if my wife was suddenly living in the DC cesspool for her new job, I would probably want to split up too- 'cause I aint going up there after living and being born in the South.

She is tough and can’t let all the liberal attacks take her down. The swatting and all recently would break most couples resolve to continue in politics. She needs everyone’s support ASAP. MTG we got your back!

I bet there are more divorced Democrats than Republicans but the media won't report it.

Sometimes stuff happens. You don't hate each other, still like each other , but are not in love and living separate lives except for the kids. Doesn't mean either person is bad. It shows they still care enough about the òther person to let them have another chance at a new life.

I was a stockbroker. I saw a lot of people who were very successful in business but the toll it took on their marriage couldn't be repaired.
MTG has focussed on politics, on governance. That had to be hard.
I'm also a practicing Catholic. Want to know why its priests are required to be celibate? There you are.

Mr. Greene... maybe ask Obama's opponent in the '96 Senate race just how effective "sealed divorce records" are.

She is rumored to have had a couple of affairs ~10 years ago, but they apparently patched things up. Those seeds can bear bitter fruit eventually.

Really don't care. This is their personal business and it's none of mine. And before the Dims jump all over MTG, they would do well to remember their heros, JFK, Clinton, and Ted 'Bridge' Kennedy!

I have to wonder why he felt the need to file right before the election.

The stress on a marriage when one spouse is virtually totally engaged in some endeavor and the other partner is not makes many marriages fail. Children in the home make for even more stress because they need parental guiding as they grow.
Love is spelled T-I-M-E, and it makes it very hard to properly lead and have a strong marriage when there is no time available to give due to work schedules.
