27 years is a really long time. No one knows what they're up against. These crosses we carry through a broken world are heavy. Sometimes, sadly, even a good family of good people can get crushed by the weight. May God bless the Greene family with peace and healing.

Sometimes stuff happens. You don't hate each other, still like each other , but are not in love and living separate lives except for the kids. Doesn't mean either person is bad. It shows they still care enough about the òther person to let them have another chance at a new life.

The stress on a marriage when one spouse is virtually totally engaged in some endeavor and the other partner is not makes many marriages fail. Children in the home make for even more stress because they need parental guiding as they grow. Love is spelled T-I-M-E, and it makes it very hard to properly lead and have a strong marriage when there is no time available to give due to work schedules.

Warren — Top Michigan GOP nominees contended a Saturday night rally with former President Donald Trump in Macomb County would help motivate their party's base and eventually benefit them on election night. At about 3:30 p.m., hundreds of people were entering the Macomb County Community College Sports and Expo Center in Warren to hear speeches from Trump, Republican candidate for governor Tudor Dixon and others. The event was taking place 38 days before a pivotal election, in which the GOP is hoping to unseat three Democrats who hold the battleground state's top offices.

Vladimir Putin today came under stinging criticism from his own side after Russia was forced to withdraw troops from a key Ukrainian city this afternoon as Ukraine's eastern counteroffensive recaptures more territory. Ukrainian forces encircled the strategic eastern city of Lyman on Saturday in a counteroffensive that has humiliated the Kremlin, while Russian bombardments intensified after Moscow illegally annexed a swath of Ukrainian territory in a sharp escalation of the war. Russia's own Tass and RIA news agencies announced that troops have fled Lyman, citing the Russian defence ministry.

Among them was an off-the-record transcript of Obama in a roundtable conversation with progressive opinion journalists on Jan 17, 2017, just 3 days before he left office. As Bloomberg’s Jason Leopold reported, Obama referred to the 2016 election loss during the discussion and wondered about what might have been if only Bill and Hillary had made “different decisions.” Interestingly, Leopold notes that he hadn’t asked for this transcript specifically.

What is love? The permanent kind. Not the kind that breaks down upon contact with reality and life’s to-be-expected hardships. I’m talking about the kind built to last until death. The real stuff. Love is mutual self-fulfillment through mutual self-sacrifice. Love’s most perfect expression is in a good and lasting marriage. Through vocal repetition, we have become habituated to the notion that marriage and children are a better deal for men than women. Men get it. It’s not easy to be a mother—particularly a working mother. It’s a real sacrifice and it’s not easy. Lost completely in the conversation and thinking, however, are men’s motivations and sacrifices—most often made in silence.

Simian hemorrhagic fever virus (SHFV) causes devastating internal bleeding and kills virtually every primate it infects. It hijacks the immune system, disabling key defense mechanisms and breaking the body down cell by cell. No cases have been detected in humans yet but it is 'poised for a spillover', according to US researchers. By developing tests and monitoring the virus now 'the global health community could potentially avoid another pandemic', they said. Coins featuring an image of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, face right and wear a crown. With each successive monarch, the direction of silhouette is changed. The new coins are inscribed with "Charles III • D • G • REX • F • D," which is a condensed version of the Latin expression "by the Grace of God, Defender of the Faith."
