The Wall Street Journal is known as a sober, somewhat-staid publication originally meant for finance types to pore over stock market news and goings on in “the Street.” More recently, it has become an alternative for thinking people who are sick of the screeching from The New York Times and The Washington Post but who’d still like an establishment take from a national news publication.
It’s somewhat surprising, therefore, to read a blistering op-ed by their Editorial Board, but on Sunday evening that’s exactly what they delivered. They take climate fanatics Al Gore and John Kerry to the proverbial woodshed over their bullying of the World Bank.

More evidence of how vindictive, obsessive, and downright sinister Facebook is, now it appears to be monitoring private messages and suppressing material related to the whistleblower complaint of hero FBI special agent Steve Friend.
After Friend’s bombshell revelations last week in a whistleblower complaint to the Department of Justice inspector general, his cause received an avalanche of public and private support, including from former FBI agents and conservative groups.
As reported in this column, Friend’s complaint alleges that the FBI has been manipulating case-file management in order to falsely inflate the threat of domestic terrorism,

The Muslim Brotherhood’s “endgame” is to murder every non-Muslim and “destroy Western civilization,” according to counterterrorism expert Cynthia Farahat, who revealed they are open about their intentions of infiltrating and corrupting every American institution “like a cancer,” and slammed the “far-left” for its “propaganda” supporting the global terrorist organization.
In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, well-known Egyptian author and political analyst Farahat highlighted the Muslim Brotherhood’s association with virtually all Islamic terror groups.
“The Muslim Brotherhood is the incubator of Sunni Islamic terrorism,” she said.

A plurality would vote for and prefer Republicans in control of the U.S. House of Representatives when they vote in November’s midterm election, according to the ABC News/Washington Post poll released over the weekend.

Vice President Kamala Harris suggested during an interview in Wisconsin that people do not have to "change" their faith or abandon "deeply held beliefs" to "agree the government should not be telling a woman what to do with her body."
WISN 12's Jared Jordan asked Harris about Wisconsin's role in the upcoming midterm elections.
"Wisconsin will help decide the future of our country and that is what Wisconsin does," Harris said. "When we look at a woman's right to make decisions about her own body, we need two additional seats in the Senate, one of which will be Mandela Barnes to say, listen, let's stop playing politics with women's bodies.

Republicans don’t have to wait for the voters to give them power in November to do something about the escalating crisis at the southern border.
They have an opportunity this week to force the Biden administration to act on border security — if they want to.
In the House, Republican Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (Calif.) has done the right thing by urging his members to vote against any government funding bill Tuesday that does not address the surge of illegal migration.
But Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is stonewalling.

As we reported in late August, NBC’s “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd’s decidedly leftist bent has led the longtime host to the precipice of being kicked to the curb, as top NBC execs continue to try to “fix” MTP’s ratings disaster. Today’s episode is an example of why Todd’s in trouble.
During Todd’s “Data Download” segment of Sunday’s show, the multimillionaire host, who hasn’t lived in the real world for decades, promised to explain “why immigrants crossing the border could actually be a solution to our inflation problem.”
Uh-huh. Later in this article, I’ll explain why Chuck Todd is full of crap.

Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake on Sunday blasted statements made by Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), who vowed to “do everything” possible to “make sure Kari Lake is not elected,” including campaigning for Democrats.
Appearing on Fox’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” host Maria Bartiromo asked Trump-endorsed Lake her reaction to Cheney’s promise.
“That might be the biggest, best gift I’ve ever received,” Lake quipped. “I mean, the people of Wyoming can’t stand her, I’m pretty much sure that the people of Arizona don’t like Liz Cheney,” she continued.

Two Americans who went missing in Ukraine after volunteering to fight invading Russian forces received an emotional homecoming after being sent back to the states as part of a prisoner exchange.
Military veterans Alex Drueke, 40, and Andy Huynh, 27, disappeared June 9 in Ukraine’s western Kharkiv region after traveling on their own to fight in the war-torn country.
The pair touched down at New York’s Kennedy Airport Friday before arriving in their home state of Alabama to great fanfare Saturday.
“It’s them!” a family member shouted as the daring duo descended an escalator at Birmingham’s airport

Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki bluntly admitted that if the November midterm elections are a “referendum” on President Biden, the Democrats will lose.
Psaki, who left the White House in May to take a job at MSNBC, said if the midterms focus on the “most extreme” party, mentioning Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene by name, then Democrats will be celebrating on election day.
“If it is a referendum on the president, they will lose. And they know that. They also know that crime is a huge vulnerability for Democrats, I would say one of the biggest vulnerabilities,” Psaki said Sunday on NBC News’ “Meet the Press.”
