As we reported in late August, NBC’s “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd’s decidedly leftist bent has led the longtime host to the precipice of being kicked to the curb, as top NBC execs continue to try to “fix” MTP’s ratings disaster. Today’s episode is an example of why Todd’s in trouble.
During Todd’s “Data Download” segment of Sunday’s show, the multimillionaire host, who hasn’t lived in the real world for decades, promised to explain “why immigrants crossing the border could actually be a solution to our inflation problem.”
Uh-huh. Later in this article, I’ll explain why Chuck Todd is full of crap.

Todd isn't an isolated incident. Billionaire Bill Ackman said the same thing two days ago (rationale: by taking jobs away from Americans, immigrants lower wages, which lowers inflation). The DNC must be floating a trial balloon for some new talking points. Dementia Joe's moron press secretary or AOC will probably be the next.

Is this jerk delusional or just stupid? Maybe all the years of lying has made Todd believe his lies, ergo delusional.

L-Dotters, don't bother with putting any effort into an intelligent, reasoned reply.
It's just another blatant LIE from Chuck the (to use a leading late night TV host's phrase) C*ck-Holster.

What he was saying is that illegal aliens when they take jobs that should go to American workers are willing to work for much lower wages then American workers can accept so that in his mind lowers inflation. What he did not say is the reason American workers can not accept jobs at much lower wages that employers are pleased as punch to pay illegal aliens is that American workers almost always try to maintain the their customary US standard of living, while illegal aliens if they want to work, have no choice but to work for whatever wage they are offered. So of course billionaires, millionaires, and the investor class are happy as clams to have an unlimited potential illegal alien workforce surging into the USA, as that means labor costs in any industry where illegal aliens can be hired will go down, which actually means that employers and shareholders will make a bigger profit on their investment. The class of Americans who loose out on all that are American workers who must compete with the surging potential illegal alien workforce, that’s just common sense.
Another issue that hurts Americans coming out of college is the massive number of so-called “temporary” foreign workers, over 250,000, mostly all college graduates, who the Biden Administration is allowing into the USA each year to take American jobs at a much lower wage then employers would have to pay young American college graduates to do the same work. How does that help the American workers who must compete against those so-called “temporary” foreign workers, who are really not “temporary” at all since once inside the USA they are eligible to change their immigration statuses to that of a permanent resident (green card holder) who can live and work in the USA indefinitely.
On top of that the USA allows over a million legal immigrants (green card holders) to enter the USA for permanent residence each year in accordance with the immigration laws, that allows them to live and work indefinitely in the USA supposedly as long as they abide by the immigration and other laws. What this boils down to is anytime an illegal alien, a “temporary” foreign worker, of a legal immigrant takes an American job at a lower wage then employers would have to pay American workers to perform the same job, how does that activity lower inflation? It does not, what it does is make it harder for American workers to get jobs, and instead creates more and higher profits for the politically connected movers and shakers who do not have to compete against foreign origin workers for jobs in the US economy.

Let's back up a bit, Mr. Miller. The workforce participation rate is historically low. The truth is that it has DROPPED regularly since 2002, over 20 years, when it was 66.6 percent. It peaked at 67.3 percent in 2000. (It dropped to 60% in 2020, and has been trending upward since.) So, blame Biden making it easy to turn down jobs and still receive unemployment benefits...and explain then to what you attribute the decades-long decrease of this measure? And explain the current recovery from the depths of COVID. It seems we have been indulgent to the "unemployed" for a long time prior, haven't we?
That's not to say importation of cheap labor is the answer. However, let's be honest about the economics, the government's role, and the real causes of today's inflation...and that's plainly GOVERNMENT SPENDING and its economic interventions.
(BTW: In terms of race, the numbers have been fairly equal and consistent across the board.)
