Why Joe Biden can't change course on greenie madness

In many ways, Joe Biden's presidency is a baffling one. He's down in the polls, his policies are disasters, but unlike, say, Bill Clinton, he can't change course, or moderate his direction, not even to save his presidency. He's particularly rigid on some of these policies, such as the green agenda, even as the voters say 'no' and the obvious political consequences of that are coming for him. So what gives? Is he simply too old to change? That doesn't explain it, because he's been a political weather vane for the duration of his entire career. Something is going on, and RealClearPolitics's Philip Wegmann may have put his finger on it.

This seems simple...Jo Biden and the Democrat Congress gets $350 Billion Dollars allocated to "Green Energy"...John Podesta allocates the Federal Funds to Democrat Donors who are invested in "Green Energy"...same donors continue to feedback money to Biden and the Democrat politicians who allocated the funds....SWEET...what a great loop of corruption, anti-Americanism, and gangsterism....would make Mussolini blush

No matter what their plans our and how they expect to succeed God is still in control. If you read the book of Revelation God wins in the end. These men are just pawns in the hand of God. Terrible judgments are coming upon this earth and they are not far off. What will they do with all that power and money then? They will not take it to Hell with them. "Flee from the wrath to come" Jesus Christ alone can save you.

Have to wonder just how many foreign billionaires are influencing our government. As always, follow the money. Our government is no longer responsive to the general populace. Only to big-money interests. it is corrupt. If you think the economic downturn is going to change the mind of green supporters, think again. They are prepared to suffer some hardship or think it won't affect them at all. They are still on Bolshevik Biden's runaway bus. So are the Trump haters, Republican haters, and all the social justice types. It's all about priorities, and the economy isn't a top issue with any of them.

Biden can't change course because he's not making these decisions. He's doing what he's told to do by unknown individuals within and outside of the White House. These people have their agendas and they do not care what the populous desires. They will proceed full speed ahead until they are stopped by a conservative majority in the House and the Senate. In the meantime, it's going to take much more devastation before Democrats come to their senses and realize that they are wrong in their dangerous and deadly supposition that everything is going to work out just fine.

In my post above, I should have written, "They will proceed full speed ahead until they are stopped by a conservative majority in the House, in the Senate and a conservative President. Gaining these majorities in the House and the Senate will not solve these problems as long as the President is a Democrat. Biden and/or Harris will veto almost all federal laws drafted by Republicans unless there is a veto proof majority in both houses of Congress.

Murder is staring journalists in the face, now that a veteran investigative journalist, Jeff German of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, has been stabbed and killed in cold blood, allegedly by a Democrat politician. But does that make an impression on the local talent in the press pool? Not to at least one of them. According to Tristan Justice, writing at The Federalist: A reporter present at a local press briefing with Las Vegas Sheriff Joe Lombardo Thursday sought to indict Trump for the crime. “Sheriff, you said the murder of a journalist is especially troubling. Now is probably not the time to talk politics,” the unnamed female reporter began.

According to The Hill: More than 70 House Democrats are signing on to a letter pressing Democratic leaders to not include a side deal with Sen. Joe Biden has made his obsession with President Trump known, most recently through his hellishly lit Mussolini-meltdown speech at Independence Hall in Philadelphia last week, manically painting Trump and all his voters as "threats to the republic." He may be doddering and insentient, but he still burns bright against his potential opponent in the 2024 presidential race, which even Democrats don't want him to get involved with. On Trump, Biden's as obsessed with Trump as Stalin was with Trotsky. So it comes to light that not only has Biden tried to smear Trump as a danger to democracy and "threat to the republic," in a sorry public relations campaign

In today's happy news, Chile's voters have decisively, overwhelmingly rejected a full-blown socialist rewrite of their 40-year constitution that otherwise has served them so well. According to the lefty U.K. Guardian (whose account was less biased than that of the New York Times): Chileans have voted comprehensively against a new, progressive constitution that had been drafted to replace the 1980 document written under Gen Augusto Pinochet’s dictatorship. With 96% of the votes counted in Sunday’s plebiscite, the rejection camp had 61.9% support compared with 38.1% for approval amid what appeared to be a heavy turnout with long lines at polling states. Voting was mandatory.

SANTIAGO, Chile — For the past three years, Chileans have fought over a new path forward for their country in the form of a Constitution, written entirely from scratch, that would transform their society and grant more rights than any national charter before it. On Sunday, they rejected that text. The proposed changes had looked to remake one of the most conservative countries in Latin America into one of the world’s most left-leaning societies, but Chileans decided that went too far.
