In many ways, Joe Biden's presidency is a baffling one. He's down in the polls, his policies are disasters, but unlike, say, Bill Clinton, he can't change course, or moderate his direction, not even to save his presidency. He's particularly rigid on some of these policies, such as the green agenda, even as the voters say 'no' and the obvious political consequences of that are coming for him. So what gives? Is he simply too old to change? That doesn't explain it, because he's been a political weather vane for the duration of his entire career. Something is going on, and RealClearPolitics's Philip Wegmann may have put his finger on it.

Murder is staring journalists in the face, now that a veteran investigative journalist, Jeff German of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, has been stabbed and killed in cold blood, allegedly by a Democrat politician.
But does that make an impression on the local talent in the press pool? Not to at least one of them.
According to Tristan Justice, writing at The Federalist:
A reporter present at a local press briefing with Las Vegas Sheriff Joe Lombardo Thursday sought to indict Trump for the crime.
“Sheriff, you said the murder of a journalist is especially troubling. Now is probably not the time to talk politics,” the unnamed female reporter began.

In today's happy news, Chile's voters have decisively, overwhelmingly rejected a full-blown socialist rewrite of their 40-year constitution that otherwise has served them so well.

A newly unearthed video shows Charlie Crist, the Democratic nominee for Florida governor, comparing himself to Jesus Christ and calling Republican governor Ron DeSantis “DeSatan.”

I realize in advance that this message is futile, but I will try once again. Republicans/conservatives are in the habit of repeating the same mistakes over and over and over and over and over, and never learning from their mistakes, much less changing tactics.
