Democrats are running as Republicans in races across America today. It’s the only way they can win in a majority of locations around the country. So they pretend to be Republicans until after they are elected.
They even have a name for these Democrat plants. They’re called “secret sleepers.“
In June Project Veritas released leaked audio of Democrat US Senate candidate Krystle Matthews speaking on the phone with an inmate at Perry Correctional Institution. Democrat Matthews called for “secret sleepers” to infiltrate the South Carolina Republican party.

To paraphrase Maha Rushie: they HAVE to pretend. They cannot win in the “arena of ideas.”

Some of them may get away with it.
I can vote but I can only vote for the names on the page.
Kind of like Russia. Do you vote for Communist #1 or Communist #2 ?

Like Mayra Flores in Texas, wins as a Republican then immediately pushes for amnesty.
It is not surprising, the Left lies, cheats and steals, because that is all they have, which in this case means the "Red Wave" will be purple at best.
Perhaps new congressional rules must be made where you must vote the party line at least 95% of the time or lose your seat to reduce the power of these saboteurs.

Democrats can't do anything honestly and above board. They always have to cheat.

Not terribly surprising - look at John McCain, John Boehner, Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, Olympia Snow, and John Kasich

Don’t forget the scads of Losertarians doing the very same thing in order to ‘purify’ the Republican Party and attempt to condemn their opponents as RINOs and unfit to call themselves conservatives …

We MUST enact 'purity' rules to retain control of our representatives. It isn't that we won't welcome converts but we should not permit them to run as Republicans for at least two election cycles first. Bring back the smoke-filled back room!

Nice article, BEFORE THE PRIMARIES! After the fact, RINO vs. a Democrat - TAKE THE RINO. Even if they vote against us every time we still get control of the chamber, and that is EVERYTHING. Keeping our primaries true is our job. If we are going to rely on the other side playing fair instead of making it impossible for them to do this, then we will lose because they will do absolutely anything to win.

This is why those who run for office as Republicans have GOT TO BE VETTED. Look at their record. Don’t assume that because they’re running as Republicans, that they really are. Many are Democrats in disguise. Vetting their voting records and everything about them should be the first priority of the GOP organizations who sponsor or approve candidates. VET!

A big part of the problem is the Republican Party won't legitimately vet these people. They vote in our primaries; they pay their membership dues and the fee to run on the Republican ticket...they're bona fide. We've started to vet them ourselves and outing them as the democrats they really are. And we're winning! They're so peeved with us--the Dems and the GOPe. How dare we! :-D

They will win when they do because of the millions of Republican voters who will still not vote for Trump or a Trump-backed candidate.

It's not going to work for them. I simply won't vote for a Democrat ever again as long as I live.
By the way, Republican signs have sprung up in the rural area I live. You don't see a Democrat sign until you get into town. Townies are more likely to like lots of government and all those "services".

There are still conservative minded people who are not politically astute like 'independents' who get fooled. I have a good friend like that. He voted in the last mayoral election for a democrat who now is wreaking havoc on the local government. My friend's excuse, "I thought he was a nice guy". In all my years on earth since I cast my first vote, I never voted democrat. I can honestly say I was never a democrat who switched parties. I do keep a keen eye out for the fakes. Vetting the vipers is a must in today's arena of politics.

Nothing new...in Pennsylvania WE have a fetterman ...spelling ?...running against Dr. OZ who is an accomplished doctor and intelligent and MAGA....now it seems the democrats are running this fetterman even though he has had a stroke and isn't up to the job of senator representing our country...another power behind the throne...like ole Joe in the White House....it's a "in your face" type candidate for America....

If they don't vet the candidates, including their party history, it's shame on those Republican voters who are "fooled".

This goes a long way to explain all the RINOs in the party. I have repeatedly said the Republicans needed to do a better job of of vetting their candidates. I suspect that the Democrats have been doing this for much longer than anybody realized.

One more thing, the vote to get rid of RINOs is in the primaries. In the general election you need to vote Republican to get in the majority. Then it is up to the real Republicans to put the RINOs in positions where they can do the least harm.

The Republican National Committee does the same when one of their own faces a challenger who might disturb their business model. Invariably there will be several self-claimed "Tea Party conservatives" running against the many entrenched swine such as McConnell or Graham, and when name recognition combines with Democrats being allowed to crossover vote in GOP primaries, the incumbent always wins, which guarantees that the gravy will keep flowing.
