Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) defended Republican Senate candidates against "treasonous" party members who have questioned the chances of a GOP takeover of the upper chamber in the midterm elections.
Scott, who chairs the National Republican Senatorial Committee, blasted fellow Republicans, including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), for both anonymous and on-the-record comments about how subpar "candidate quality" may keep Republicans from winning the majority. McConnell and Scott have feuded over election strategy in the months leading up to the midterm elections.
"Unfortunately, many of the very people responsible for losing the Senate last cycle are now trying to stop us from winning the majority this time by trash-talking

Some Deep State Republicans have been removed. Mitch doesn't seem to like that.

Finally a Republican Senator willing to start taking on Mitch McConnell and his traitorous band of Rhino's. Nice to see Senator Scott finally start acting like a Patriot Warrior.

Time to Ditch Mitch. He is a deep state RINO mole that has sabotaged more conservative candidates than anyone else. He has been in power far tooling and is the poster boy for term limits. He loves to prove republicans can govern in a bipartisan manner which means bending over and spreading 'em wide for Schumer every time he snaps his fingers. His comfort zone is in the minority. He is not a courageous fearless leader but a cross-eyed little weakling cowardly excuse for a man.

Mitch seems to have an aversion to being the majority.

It's past time for new people in the leadership positions. You do know, those positions are not assigned, but voted on by the membership. GET NEW LEADERS..........

We cannot afford to disparage our candidates publicly. The 11th Commandment in Texas was once quoted as, 'Thou shalt not speak ill of another Republican'. Yes, some of our candidates are less than stellar but we don't need the likes of McConnell to help out their opponents. Frankly, if Oz loses, we need to ditch Mitch.

I’ve never been impressed with Rick Scott but I am very happy that he strongly rebuked Mitch McConnell for the negativity he has shown in the race to take the Senate. Mitch will not take it kindly and will attempt to punish Scott. I hope this indicates that Mitch’s perch may be a bit unsteady.

Mitch wants to lead GOP in the Senate, and he'd rather lead them in the minority than have somebody else lead them in the majority.

Every politician should take the 3 minutes to read the definition of treason and the elements of offense of treason within 18 US Code § 2381. The popular/emotional definitions of treason, aint it.

#11, "treason", like many English words, has several meanings only one of which is legally defined treason against the country. If you read what Senator Scott said. It was "treason against the conservative cause", a perfectly accurate statement. That said, Senator Scott might have used a different description as many people will misinterpret him.
Hood to see someone, anyone in Republican leadership finally stand up to McConnell and the other swamp creatures, and I pray this foretells an end to China Mitch's so-called "leadership ". I fear, however, that it may be too little too late. Mitch, and Cornyn too, should have been out of leadership positions years ago.

It's insane to keep Mumbles and Mike in leadership positions; they need to go home and do something besides pretending to be Republicans.
