The Worst and the Stupidest?

Original Article

Elites have always been ambiguous about the muscular classes who replace their tires, paint their homes, and cook their food. And the masses who tend to them likewise have been ambivalent about those who hire them: appreciative of the work and pay, but also either a bit envious of those with seemingly unlimited resources or turned off by perceived superciliousness arising from their status and affluence. Yet the divide has grown far wider in the 21st century. Globalization fueled the separation in a number of ways. One, outsourcing and offshoring eroded the rust-belt interior, while enriching the two coasts. The former lost good-paying jobs, while the latter found new markets

Use the technology in your hand or on your desk to campaign yourself. The next ten weeks are crucial for the future of our nation. Its the Elites vs. the Deplorables. Victor Davis Hanson hits on what is the key factor in America's past successes and why we are losing ground. Although he implies it, he needed to come out and bluntly point out it's the "muscular classes" that keep this country going and who really have the power -- if they choose to use it!

VDH’s writing is superb. He never fails to communicate truth in such a way that hits every note. He gets his points across with grace and zero vitriol. He has the power to cut to the heart of any subject that encourages you hang on every word. Truth written well does that. He shreds the elite class with the skill of a master. They are arrogant and incompetent and do look down their noses at the working class. They are so ill equipped for real life that they simply cannot function on the most fundamental level. Personally, I believe you can give them the coast and let the rest of us live our lives in peace and prosperity. Let them live with their cockamamie schemes and leave the rest of us alone. We will be just fine. Most Americans are sick and tired of the constant haranguing that comes from those know-it-alls anyway. It would be a pleasure to be shed of their insanity. No one wants to be on a losing team and they are the biggest bunch of losers ever to draw breath. We can live in peace and prosperity here in red states. Just keep them far, far away from me.

VDH is a special hero of mine who doesn’t mince words nor dance around the issues. Wonderful article here - with so much ‘truth’! The truth is in short supply these days. Most of the media are afraid of it, and don’t want the general public to read it, hear it, see it - or know it. Thank God for him and others who are giving us hope by fighting for good over evil, truth versus lies, freedom instead of the smothering totalitarianism the Democrats are happily promoting and aiming for in the future.

VDH has indeed written an "Holy Writ for the Age" with this. It's becoming increasingly obvious that the most clueless in power are those who foillowed the prescription for a life in politics that follows the path: 1) Be a valedictorian in High School 2) Get admitted to an Ivy League school using any trick in the book, 3) Get a BA in Political Science, and party your way through college! 4) Get a Law Degree from the most hoity toity school you can get into... a requirement for the most comfy jobs 5) Work for 2 years as a District Attorney (anywhere USA, but big city the better)... gives "Law & Order street cred" 6) Hang out your 'shingle' and become a Defense Attorney for the "poor and illiterate" (i.e. good Democrat voters) to enhance your "compassionate" side 7) Once you've built a local network of 'donors' run for office... District Attorney, Judge, Representative, etc. 8) If at first you don't succeed, be a 'Beto', and run again for something different. 9) Follow the "Green Brick Road" until you make it to the Federal level then begin maneuvering your way into the area of "public policy" where you can make "big change"... at least you'll get the attention of the global elites who can fund your ideas and career. 10) If the voters back home get tired of you and vote you out, the safety net of a Soros or Gates will tide you over until you can run for President. In summary, it's like that old Twilight Zone episode, "It's a Cookbook!"

Combine this with the piece Sundance has written on the Surveillance State over at The Conservative Treehouse (Google "existential threat conservative treehouse"), the turning inward and weaponization of America's intelligence services against America’s NON-elite, and the existential threat Trump and the non-elite pose to the elite’s house of cards, and we get a full picture of America in 2022. A recent epidemic of airline near misses deserves both attention and reflection. In mid-December, a San Francisco-bound United Airlines Boeing 777-200 airliner, just a little over a minute after taking off from Maui, Hawaii, suddenly dived. It lost more than half its altitude and came within 800 feet of crashing into the Pacific Ocean before pulling up. About a month later, an American Airlines jet crossed the runway at New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport just as a Delta Air Lines plane was accelerating for takeoff. The two aircraft nearly collided.

A report is circulating that Biden expressly ordered U.S. Navy divers to blow up the Nord Stream pipelines through which Russian natural gas flowed to Europe. If that’s true, Biden committed an act of war. I have a proposal, though, to keep Putin from launching an ICBM in our direction. The allegation comes from Seymour Hersh, 85, the journalist the highlight of whose long career Wikipedia describes. In 1969, Hersh broke the story of the My Lai massacre that had happened the year before. Since then, Hersh has alleged that U.S. intelligence tricked the Soviets into shooting down Korean Air Flight 007 in 1983;

In celebrating Black history month this year, I thought it would be fitting to finally recognize a triumph of African American literature that has, ironically, been falsely accused of racism. That achievement is embodied in a 1946 Walt Disney movie entitled Song of the South. I assume many of you have not seen the film because Disney has succumbed to the accusations of racism by refusing to re-release it in any form. Nonetheless, you may at least recognize the film’s buoyant Academy Award winning song, “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah” which arguably forms the musical backbone of the movie.

The Chinese spy balloon circus is over, but now it’s question time for the Biden administration who let this espionage device from Beijing float around for days. We finally downed the balloon over the Atlantic Ocean near the Carolinas over the weekend. But how could this have happened? It wasn’t traveling at supersonic speeds, and our tracking devices could have stopped it when it was hovering near Alaska. There was time to shoot down this balloon before it breached US airspace. We know about the Pentagon's concerns about falling debris killing American citizens.

America's Civil War, which raged from 1861 to 1865, was by far the bloodiest conflict in our history. Original estimates put the death toll at about 620,000, including some 360,000 Union and 260,000 Confederate dead. More recent estimates of the carnage are even higher: 750,000 to 850,000. The Battle of Antietam on Sept. 17, 1862, at Sharpsburg, Maryland, still ranks as the bloodiest day in U.S. history, with nearly 23,000 casualties on both sides, including 3,675 killed in action. How does a country possibly recover from a calamity so huge?

Joe Biden will almost certainly not attend the coronation of King Charles III. The official reason is that he is making a trip to Ireland that simply can’t be canceled. The media have focused on two reasons he won’t be there: (1) Eisenhower didn’t attend so there’s no tradition for presidents to attend, and (2) Biden hates the British. I think there are two more likely reasons: (1) Charles III’s coronation is an event without cachet, and (2) it’s impossible for Biden to withstand the rigors of the long coronation ceremony and any pre- and post-ceremony events. Indeed, my money is on the last reason being the real reason.
