The United States Government Behaving
Like A Third World Despot

Original Article

Nice precedent Joe Biden. Way to go Attorney General Merrick Garland. You guys, along with your sychophants, are transforming America from Reagan’s City of Light on a Hill into a Third World autocracy. Murderers, rapists and pedophiles get the kid glove treatment while supporters of Donald Trump, who “trespassed” on to the grounds of the U.S. Capitol (the ironically named People’s house), are denied habeus corpus and left to rot in jail. To hell with the rule of law. The United States now is in the grasp of political partisans who use the law and the police to pursue their own special interests and to punish their political opponents.

Such a good essay. I thought others would want to read it.

They're acting like it in all but name, so we might as well go ahead and relabel the FBI as the Stasi.

I have no intention of living in a third world country and if this Biden crapolah government thinks it can take all of the stuff I've spent over 7 decades accumulating because of my hard work and give it to anyone who is just too lazy to get their own; is just nuts and will have a real live force affecting their attempt to do it.

It is quite clear that the outrages committed against Donald Trump and his millions of supporters are an attempt to stifle any sort of action or protest, even peaceful, conducted against the evil behavior of the Deep State. We are supposed to be good little children and love Big Brother. It will not work for much longer as they continue to push us. Pushing American Patriots, as learned by King George, Adolph Hitler, Emperor Hirohito and others who dared to take us on is a fool's errand. When our own government does it, it makes us livid. Beware the Sleeping Giant.

The FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago last Monday was specifically intended to recover Donald Trump's personal "stash" of hidden documents, two high-level U.S. intelligence officials tell Newsweek. To justify the unprecedented raid on a former president's residence and protect the source who revealed the existence of Trump's private hoard, agents went into Trump's residence on the pretext that they were seeking all government documents, says one official who has been involved in the investigation. But the true target was this private stash, which Justice Department officials feared Donald Trump might weaponize. (snip) documents that Trump had been collecting since early in his administration,"

If your vehicle’s catalytic converter was one of 44,000 recently stolen in Washington, Nevada, California, Texas, Oregon or New York, authorities may have arrested the group responsible. Police detectives in Beaverton, Oregon, said they've identified the man who orchestrated a $22 million catalytic converter trafficking operation based in Portland and spanning six states since January 2021. A Washington County grand jury indicted 12 people on racketeering, aggravated theft, money laundering and other charges on July 29, police said Thursday. Oregon detectives began investigating late last year. After searching eight locations, they uncovered last week 3,000 catalytic converters, hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash, a vehicle and jewelry, authorities said.

Some 5,000 Texans who used a P.O. box as a voter registration address will likely be able to cast a ballot in the state’s midterm elections after a federal judge blocked a 2021 state election law. Senate Bill 1111 attempted to tighten residency guidelines for Texas voters, but was struck down this month by U.S. District Court Judge Lee Yeakel, an appointee under former president George W. Bush. Yeakel (snip), found in a summary judgement that the state used vague language in the election law and parts of it failed constitutional scrutiny. That was Jared Kushner’s modus operandi during the long four years I had to serve alongside the man most responsible for the loss of the Trump White House. Kushner came to the D.C. swamp on the coattails of his wife as nothing more than a young and rich, run-of-the-mill liberal New York Democrat with a worldview totally orthogonal to the president he was supposed to serve. Since the Mar-a-Lago raid, Republican leadership has been bloviating at every opportunity about how they will “investigate” crimes of the Democratic Party and their three-letter agency allies like The Erinyes should the GOP win back Congress, as widely predicted, in November. It’s abundantly clear that former Vice President Mike Pence is going to run for president in 2024. He’s been putting in the leg work lately, with a scheduled trip to New Hampshire coming up. He’s also positioned himself as a Trump foil in the mid-term GOP primaries, taking a contrary position to the former president in several states, most recently in Arizona. For my part, I think Pence’s pursuit is delusional. There is exactly one person in the GOP who would be palatable to Trump voters if Trump himself weren’t the nominee, and his name is Ron DeSantis.
