‘Soviet-Style Propaganda’: Republicans
Rip Biden White House for Redefining ‘Recession’

Republican officials in the House and Senate ripped into the Biden administration after it attempted to redefine what constitutes a recession while concerns mount about a significant decline in economic activity this year. On Thursday, ahead of a potentially negative GDP report expected later this week — the annualized economic growth rate shrank by 1.6% in the first quarter of this year and appears to have contracted even more in the second — a White House blog post attempted to redefine the term “recession.” “While some maintain that two consecutive quarters of falling real GDP constitute a recession, that is neither the official definition nor the way economists evaluate the state of the business cycle,”

The Demo-commie-liars have a simple solution when following any rules becomes disadvantageous to them: Change the RULES or MAKE UP YOUR OWN RULES. And make that Rules Change seem to be nothing unusual. Media will be quite helpful with THAT. As an example, take the stoppage of vote counting in many swing states in the middle of election night, after which Biden APPEARED to have won by morning ... how special! They don't come any more unscrupulous that Democats.

One would have to be of a certain age to remember the yearly Soviet lie about their grain harvest being so many metric tons and meeting the goal of the Kremlin. Only to find out later, that it was all a lie, and food shortages would occur. Anyone under the age of fifty probably never heard these wild yearly lies reported by MSM and the video of the Russian people standing in line to get toilet paper and food while store shelves were bare.

The Democrats have been rewriting the dictionary for decades to redefine the realties of their failures. Brian Deese knows the "technical" definition of a recession is 2 consecutives quarterly declines in GDP, which is why he shifts sides of his mouth to say it is not. Janet Yellen, another administration hack, redefines a 10 year period of inflation as only "temporary". Paul Krugman piles on by telling us that trillions of dollars of government deficits doesn't cause inflation. To add credence, Robert Reich pipes up from nowhere to ratify Krugman's assertion. Birx, not to be overlooked, throws in that lying is actually only "overplaying" a point. Then, the insufferable Larry Summers jumps on CNBC to lecture us that yes we have inflation, and that we must raise taxes immediately, while pretending we are not now in a recession, while we most definitely are.

Be prepared for this zinger in November, this election was the most secure election in our history when they do a repeat of the 2020 steal. Anyone who opposes their narrative is a perpetrator of the Big Lie. They honestly believe they can say anything without being vigorously challenged. Now why is that? It’s because they aren’t. Republicans fold like a cheap suit when they are questioned by the media even when they are right Democrats know it, count on it and they are never disappointed.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ignored cries of anger and desperation from farmers and provincial officials last weekend by pressing ahead with a climate change agenda that will dramatically reduce Canada’s use of fertilizer — the same ruinous strategy that drove Dutch farmers into revolt and destroyed the agriculture of Sri Lanka. The Toronto Sun reported on a dismaying Friday meeting of federal and provincial ministers, in which the latter could not convince the Trudeau administration to show any “flexibility” in its emissions targets, not even with a global food crisis on the horizon:
