Actress Jennifer Grey of Dirty Dancing fame discussed her teenage abortion in a recent interview, claiming that the procedure helped her get out of a dangerous party lifestyle before she made it as an actor.
Grey has released an autobiography, Out of the Corner, in which she reviews her life thus far, but on the heels of the U.S. Supreme Courtâs decision to return the issue of abortion back to the states, Grey insisted that, like her Dirty Dancing film, abortion is a way to help women advance their careers.

A former Southwest Airlines flight attendant who was fired after sparring with her union president over abortion won a $5.3 million jury verdict against the airline and the union Thursday.
A jury in a Dallas federal district court handed down the verdict, ruling Charlene Carter had been fired for her religious stance on abortion, which she shared to social media, and that her termination was in violation of her right to advocate against her union.
If it stands, Carter could collect $4.15 million from Southwest and $950,000 from Local 556 of the Transport Workers Union, mostly in punitive damages.

âToday, I made difficult, but important changes to my management team and staff that will help advance my vision to restore a sense of safety in San Francisco by holding serious and repeat offenders accountable and implementing smart criminal justice reforms,â Jenkins said in a statement.

U.S. District Court Judge Amit Mehta agreed Friday with defendant Peter Navarro, a former economic adviser to President Donald Trump, that his abrupt arrest by the FBI at Reagan National Airport last month for contempt of Congress was bizarre. Catholic League president Bill Donohue has decried the worrisome trend of black Congresswomen siding with white supremacists in pushing abortion for blacks.
âWhite supremacists have always championed population control for blacks, whether it be in the form of birth control or abortion,â Dr. Donohue wrote this week. âToday this cause is being led by black Congresswomen.â
Donohue went on to note that the pro-abortion movement has been rooted in white supremacy from its origins, with Margaret Sanger founding Planned Parenthood for the express purpose of âdecreasing the black population.â

Ballou went on to say that she does not want to be ânowhere where cops are.â

Two religious leaders plan to join a lawsuit filed by a synagogue in Boynton Beach, Florida against a state law banning abortion at 15 weeks gestation.

The retired Unitarian Rev. Harris Riordan and the Buddhist minister Maya Malay confirmed they will file a lawsuit in state court next week, echoing arguments from Rabbi Barry Silver. Silver intends to file his own amended complaint next week along with Rabbi Arthur Wascow, the founder and director of the progressive Jewish organization the Shalom Center.

This is a tragic story all the way around. (snip) An OB-GYN in Indianapolis, Dr. Caitlin Bernard, performed the abortion. (snip) Bernard filed the required abortion disclosure, known as a âterminated pregnancyâ form, on July 2, two days after she performed the girlâs abortion, according to a copy of the form IndyStar received Thursday from the state health department. (snip) Also, on the disclosure form, an age for the father had to be provided. An approximate age. The doctor recorded his age as 17. That would make him a minor, too. Heâs 27. Doesnât that raise a red flag?
