San Francisco’s no-nonsense new district attorney is cleaning house — as she reportedly laid off 15 staffers inherited from her booted, woke predecessor. The firings Friday by Brooke Jenkins come nearly two weeks after she was appointed district attorney by Mayor London Breed following the recall of her much-maligned predecessor Chesa Boudin, according to SFGATE.com. “Today, I made difficult, but important changes to my management team and staff that will help advance my vision to restore a sense of safety in San Francisco by holding serious and repeat offenders accountable and implementing smart criminal justice reforms,” Jenkins said in a statement.

I'll reserve judgement on this new DA. It is San Francisco after all. I'll give her props though as this is how it's done. Get rid of all of the previous workers especially if proven to be incompetent.

Jonas Gardell, who self-identifies as gay, stated that after two people were killed in last month’s Oslo shooting at a well-known gay pub ahead of the city’s Pride festivities, mosques should be more inclusive toward the LGBT community. The main suspect in the Oslo attack, Iranian national Zaniar Matapour, is said to have been linked to radical Islamic extremists who were also linked to the Islamic State terrorist group.

An account was published Sunday in the San Marcos Record of a massive late June raid on a couple in rural Hays County, Texas that resulted in no arrest. The scale of forces deployed and the tactics used seem designed to intimidate and punish, especially considering the fact that the couple never entered the US Capitol on June 6, and were guilty only of being Trump supporters who were peacefully demonstrating. Lora DeWolfe and Darrel Kennemer were startled when FBI agents, during the pre-dawn hours on June 22, broke through their gate leading up to their home which sits on seven acres in rural Hays County.

A former Southwest Airlines flight attendant who was fired after sparring with her union president over abortion won a $5.3 million jury verdict against the airline and the union Thursday. A jury in a Dallas federal district court handed down the verdict, ruling Charlene Carter had been fired for her religious stance on abortion, which she shared to social media, and that her termination was in violation of her right to advocate against her union. If it stands, Carter could collect $4.15 million from Southwest and $950,000 from Local 556 of the Transport Workers Union, mostly in punitive damages.

With midterms looming in November when Democrats are widely expected to get thrashed and as Americans are crushed by out-of-control inflation, it has become the overriding factor for most voters and that has Democrats terrified. The higher inflation goes, the lower President Biden’s poll numbers are and they are already at historic lows. His disapproval rating on inflation is currently a whopping 70 percent, according to CNN’s Harry Enten who pointed out the disastrous number on Wednesday.

I’ve been saying this from the start — 2022 is ours to lose. In less than 2 years of Joe Biden’s presidency and the Democrat Party’s takeover in Washington, we have only seen one thing — pure incompetence that is hurting American families. Rip-roaring inflation, empty shelves, mothers who can’t find baby formula, a dangerous invasion at our Southern border, drugs and criminals marching in everyday, escalating spending and debt, a botched withdrawal from Afghanistan that cost 13 Americans their lives, radical indoctrination of our children in schools and rising crime. Now we are 4 months away from the 2022 midterms, and Republicans have a message of hope for our country.
