More video has emerged overnight of Sri Lankan protestors having fun and enjoying themselves after they stormed the President's House and presidential compound on Saturday—until they set alight to the prime minister's residence. The raucous uprising was enough to force the resignation of Sri Lanka's President and Prime Minister, as months of frustration brought on by an unprecedented economic crisis boiled over. As well as holding an impromptu pool party, the protestors enjoyed a sing-along on the president's grand piano, a pillow fight in the prime minister's bedrooms, and even made time for a spot of weight-lifting in the president's private gym.(Snip)Hundreds of thousands of people

The Sri Lankans were on the right track, but didn’t get to do it right because they didn’t have enough money in order to succeed. The UN should step in to give them the funds to succeed in going green so I can get my Lipton’s Tea.

Watch which country the President and PM flee to. First check the plane for pallets of cash. Also check the country for hidden bank accounts containing their smuggled wealth.

Some things are inexplicable. IIRC, Pol Pot, after murdering something over a million Cambodians, lived out his later years in a small village in Cambodia, apparently not attacked by relatives. I try to be a good Christian, but if my family had been murdered by a Pol Pot, I don't know if I could let him live peacefully like that. The Bible says to forgive. Sometimes the amazing civility of ordinary people amazes me. And at other times, the amazing barbarity of others is just as amazingly sad.

Sri Lanka is the microcosm starkly showing the results of leftist policies. All countries following leftist policies will get the same results. Some will take longer than others, but the results will be the same.

The two California men, Luis Estrada and Carlos Santos, were allegedly caught red-handed by the US Drug Enforcement Administration as part of a multi-agency investigation. Yet frustrated agents had to stand by and watch as the suspects were cut loose on just supervised release, the federal agency said. That’s because the two men could only be charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, as opposed to a narcotic, under the state’s outdated

Fewer Americans than ever say that they believe that the Bible should be taken literally, while a record number of Americans now say they view the holy book as a compilation of "fables, legends, history and moral precepts recorded by man," according to a Gallup poll. One in five Americans surveyed said the Bible is the "actual word of God, to be taken literally," about half off from the high point in 1984. The survey also shows that as fewer Americans are ranking religion as "very important," the number of those who believe the Bible came directly from God decreases.
