A gunman fired off at least three rounds near Rockefeller Plaza and St. Patrick’s Cathedral early Saturday during a brazen daylight drive-by shooting in Midtown, cops said. No one was injured, but it wasn’t immediately clear if any of the luxury stores and high-end boutiques in the area, which include Cartier jewelers, Salvatore Ferragamo, Versace and Longchamp were hit with gunfire. Witnesses told police that a black Mercedes Benz was traveling south on Fifth Ave. near 52nd St. just before 6 a.m. when a passenger in the luxury vehicle stuck a gun out the window and fired off several rounds.(Snip)The gunman appeared to be aiming

The Mercedes was black. And NYC's celebrity mayor, elected as a post-George Floyd healer, was no doubt still fast asleep after high-end nightclubbing into the early hours.

Violence goes unpunished in NYC nowdays....unless you are a small businessman defending against a violent black attacker in your own store.....THEN they get interested in using the laws as a hammer. Self-defense by white folks against black attackers is not acceptable to the black, racist DA.

Uhmm...If "Poverty" is what "causes" criminal behavior and violence? Why is it that so many of these attacks, robberies, smash and grabs, assaults have the perps driving high end cars and vehicles?

Albany TV news anchor Heather Kovar shocked viewers over the weekend when she slurred her words and appeared disheveled during an evening broadcast—and the station told The Post on Sunday that she has been suspended from her job. The CBS 6 anchor was jittery and wide-eyed during her Saturday segments and at times incoherent. At one point while trying to pivot between segments, Kovar said, “And so, moving on tonight, is we have to tell you also, you know, like other news that’s happening in the area, and across the area, in the nation.”(Snip)She quickly changed subjects during the report, too, saying bizarrely, “Well, hello! More video has emerged overnight of Sri Lankan protestors having fun and enjoying themselves after they stormed the President's House and presidential compound on Saturday—until they set alight to the prime minister's residence. The raucous uprising was enough to force the resignation of Sri Lanka's President and Prime Minister, as months of frustration brought on by an unprecedented economic crisis boiled over. As well as holding an impromptu pool party, the protestors enjoyed a sing-along on the president's grand piano, a pillow fight in the prime minister's bedrooms, and even made time for a spot of weight-lifting in the president's private gym.(Snip)Hundreds of thousands of people
