The request to reschedule the trial for after October 15, 2022 was filed Wednesday and claims at this time it would be 'impossible to guarantee' fair proceedings during the public January 6 hearings. 'It would be impossible to guarantee Mr. Bannon a fair trial in the middle of much-publicized Select Committee hearings which purport to broadcast investigative 'findings' on topics that are referenced in the Indictment,' the filing states

Over 100 Georgia sheriffs have joined arms and revolted against far-left Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, attacking her for her support of “defund the police” and condemning her for soft on crime policies that they described as harming Georgia families.

Vermont Sen. Patrick Leahy is suffering a broken hip as a result of a fall at his McLean, Virginia, house on Wednesday night. In a statement, the 82-year-old Democrat's office said that he would undergo surgery to repair the hip on Thursday morning. "Having been born blind in one eye, the senator has had a lifelong struggle with reduced depth perception.
