President Joe Biden considered a Republican running mate for 2020 in secret conversations with a top donor, DailyMail.com can reveal. Walmart board chairman Greg Penner, who has donated over $640,000 to political campaigns since 1999, had back-channel talks with Hunter Biden in 2018 and 2019 to set up Joe with Republican former Ohio governor John Kasich for a bipartisan presidential ticket. The plot, revealed in text messages, emails, and a phone call recording on Hunter's abandoned laptop, gives an insight into political strategies the president considered in an attempt to win the White House.

How would joining Kasich to the ticket be considered bipartisan? Is that same as saying the Jan 6th committee is bipartisan?

President Lincoln ran on a unity ticket with Andrew Jackson (D) as his VP, who took over after the assassination of Lincoln. Jackson didn't help the freed slaves much after taking office, but did help the Southern Democrats create a new system after Reconstruction. The Democrats were so all-in on the new system changes, they gave up the challenge to the 1876 Presidential election, with the agreement the Federal troops were leave the South, which ushered in Jim Crow laws that took away right's from Blacks, and not just in the South but many Northern cities had laws too.

#15 Correct, #13 has his Jackson/Johnson names switched is all. Andrew Johnson was an illiterate tailor from Greensboro TN that cared more about losing his gig in DC than his party, so he was the only Democrat to stay. V.P. was a political tactic that went sideways when another Democrat murdered Lincoln. Johnson revoked Special Field Orders, No. 15 (40 acres and a mule). The 15th Amendment (Slavery) was passed by the House when Lincon died but not ratified. Johnson tried to stop that, so they impeached him and almost removed him. Again, he decided he liked the gig better and played along.

The Democrats can never have an White male presidential ticket in the future. In order to have any chance of winning future elections, the Democrats need a huge Black vote, and to get that Black vote, there must be a “person of color” on future Democrat presidential tickets.

Liberals lambasted the Supreme Court after the justices ruled the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) exceeded its authority Thursday. The high court issued a 6-3 decision in West Virginia v. Chief Justice John Roberts wrote that the EPA exceeded its authority when it sought to impose caps on power plant emissions.“The decades-long fight to protect citizens from corporate polluters is being wiped out by these MAGA extremist justices,” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer posted on Twitter. “Every Republican who helped seat these justices is complicit.”

Americans are far more interested in inflation being tamed in the United States than helping Ukraine in its war with Russia and they are demanding that President Biden provide relief from the crushing burden of rising prices. For Biden’s part, he’s vowing that the nation will be making sacrifices “as long as it takes” for Ukraine. But a new poll shows that he is increasingly out of touch with the American public. A YouGov poll shows that a devastating 40 percent of Americans think we should be getting inflation under control rather than throwing billions at Ukraine in the war with Russia. Only 12 percent think the U.S. should be more involved

Far from seeing a game-changing rebound due to the overturning of Roe v. Biden’s approval numbers are even worse news for Democrats, with the president falling below 30 percent in key states like Nevada. Not since the decade leading up to the Civil War has there been as much discussion about the possibility of the United States splitting into two or more countries as there has been in the past 10 years. The reality is that this nation has effectively split into two countries which are, for the moment, tenuously living side-by-side. Race or ethnicity has been the underlying foundation in the creation of every nation in the history of mankind except the United States, as its founding was based on the tenet that all men are created equal and are endowed with certain unalienable rights that government cannot abrogate.
