Here we go.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) on Tuesday said he will likely vote for the gun control legislation that 10 Republicans agreed to over the weekend. “For myself, I’m comfortable with the framework and if the legislation ends up reflecting the framework, I’ll be supportive,” McConnell told reporters on Tuesday.
McConnell is the 11th Republican senator to announce support for the gun control measure which means the Democrats easily have enough votes to overcome the filibuster. RINOs like McConnell, Lindsey Graham, Collins, Toomey and others always fold to Democrat demands.

If I read it correctly, what he actually said was IF the legislation matched the framework, THEN he would support it. It's a far piece from framework to law. I'm not a big Mitch fan, but the old boy does know his way around a bill. And he knows how to keep his powder dry until he's ready to shoot. Think I'll do the same...at least when it's Gateway Pundit breathlessly once again flailing their arms while running in circles screaming with their hair afire.

"Former President Donald Trump released a statement Monday, stating he regrets endorsing Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s 2020 reelection campaign. Trump criticized McConnell for not fighting harder against the results of the 2020 presidential election and directly blamed him for the GOP losing both Senate seats in Georgia."

Trump endorsed reliable turncoat Lindsay Graham too, and also is backing a US senate candidate in Alabama who helped install a Democrat in office, which helped derail the last 2 years of his presidency. Where would we be without such Important Republicans and the people who keep them in power?

The lines are being drawn. Who is for the American people and who is not. This is clearly unconstitutional yet it won't matter.

Storm Clouds are on the horizon for November but it really does not matter. We are not part of the "Club" never have been and never will be. Those placing their hopes in Congrees are in for a big disappointment. It takes a leader to make change not a committee.

You can always count on Mitch to roll with the demonrats. Never unity in the repub ranks. Demons always march in locked in high kick goose step with eyes right and heil Hitler salute to the party leader and Mitch is right with them every time. A gutless coward with no integrity virtue or love for this country. A vile venomous despicable little man with God nowhere in him.

These laws are always stretched unreasonably far beyond the original intent and scope unless the law specifies in precise, comprehensive detail, not only what the delegated powers are, but most importantly, what is prohibited. In this instance, far more owners of firearms will be abused by this proposed law than can be imagined from reading the law's text. And this will continue unless and until some court(s) of law mandate such abuses must cease, which can take decades. The Supreme Court (in a few days) will publish its opinion holding most provisions in a New York statute - ENACTED IN 1913 - regarding government issued permits to carry firearms, violate the Second Amendment. This unconstitutional law has existed for 119 years!

It's 109 years, but it makes no difference in this context. One week is too much for unconstitutional laws.

Per an earlier comment, liberals at least stand by their beliefs no matter how putrid they seem to the rest of us. RINOS are nothing more than moderate, middle of the road roadkill in their thinking. Rush nailed them with that years ago and he was right. They are squishes with no spine and no principles. Somebody should ask the fool why he is willing to condemn thousands of men across the nation to the lies of their ex's? You just know that innocent men are going to get a real beating, thanks to Turtle.

Yes #24, and why Republicans continue to be deluded that this does no matter about McConnell is the gift that keeps on giving to America’s enemies.

Mitch knows that he's on his last session as a Senator, so he's going to screw us over all that he can since we'll never be able to actually do anything about his sorry butt.
