Jared Kushner's interest in Florida real estate and Middle East peace in the last days of 2020 coincided with his own doubts about his father-in-law's insistent claims that he won the election, a new book reveals. Kushner was an influential advisor inside the Trump White House, with he and his wife Ivanka Trump both often cast as using their unpaid roles as as calming influences.(Snip)According to the book, Kushner came up with a two-to-one formula for packaging bad news that had to be delivered to Trump in meetings or calls. He would balance out the bad news with at least two pieces of good news,

Banishing Steve Bannon and bringing in these two was a fatal error.

Okay, let's look at this again. Remember first, that Trump basically became President in 2016 on a "rounding error.." 70,000 votes in Wisconsin, MIchigan, and Pennslyvania, and we're under the thumb of Hillary The Terrible. So, we didn't have a lot of "slack" to play with. And our opponents knew it was close enough that a few well placed plots here and there might provide enough votes (please note, I did not say "voters") to get a victory. Add to that all the COVID ballot rules that were foisted, Zuck bucks, and the like and you can make a case for a stolen election. Or, maybe Biden just "cushioned" his lead (doubtful, but possible). The Dems. put their bets on seven states: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, Pennsylvania and North Carolina. If I were them, that's where I'd focus as well. They lost 6 of then in 2016. They won 6 of them in 2024. We'd better be ready for 2022 and 2024.

The snippet from this book jives with my observations, which is that the foot came off the gas once strong nationalist Bannon was kicked to the curb and liberal Javanka was brought in as two for the price of one advisors. All talk abandoned of the registry of crimes committed by illegal aliens, and we started seeing much kowtowing to racial groups, including pardoning rappers at the behest of Kim Kardashian, massive funding increases for HCBUs, an enormously expensive Platinum Plan to boost black businesses, and whatever else, accompanied a shift to a kinder and gentler persona. No hardline either against communist Antifa rioters running amok, or against the communists who tore down historic monuments across the South. And as a result much work was left undone, and look how quickly the Obama/Biden junta reversed every gain because there were no mass dismantling of government agencies because that would be mean, according to leftist plants like Javanka.

The U.S. is indirectly paying an airline controlled by the Taliban to fly out Afghans seeking safety, according to a new report, following the chaotic departure of American troops last year. Washington is committed to helping rescue Afghans who helped U.S. forces or who fear for their lives after working for the former government. But with no diplomatic representation in the country it is reliant on Qatar, which maintains relations with the Taliban, to make arrangements to fly Afghans out of the country en route to the U.S. Four sources told NBC News that Qatar is buying plane tickets in bulk from Ariana Afghan Airlines, the country’s state-owned airline.

The Air Force revealed there's a design flaw in former President Donald Trump's wish to paint the presidential plane in his signature red, white and dark blue colors. Trump's plan for the two new 747s being built into flying White Houses called for the underside of the plane and its engine area to be painted dark blue. But that could contribute to excessive temperatures on the plane, a problem that Boeing would have to pay out-of-pocket to fix, Politico reported. Boeing has already lost nearly $1.1 billion so far in converting two 747 aircraft into new Air Force Ones and its CEO has expressed regret at taking on

It wasn’t that long ago when the left’s narrative on ‘gay rights’ was simple, straightforward, and easy to support: Let’s all be tolerant of one another, live and let live, and don’t discriminate. Tolerance is, after all, one of the fundamental tenets of the philosophy which drove America’s founding. But as the saying goes, “give someone an inch and they’ll take a mile,” which is the situation in which we find ourselves today. The message of ‘tolerance’ eventually morphed into ‘acceptance.’ At some point late in the Obama Administration, our culture decided that it was inadequate to merely tolerate the shenanigans of the LGBTQ community, we needed to welcome them.
