Uvalde, Texas—Cody Briseno, a funeral attendant who works across the street from the site of the state's deadliest school shooting, was one of the first people to encounter the gunman on May 24. Briseno had rushed to help after the shooter's pickup crashed outside Robb Elementary School but fled after seeing the 18-year-old with an "evil look" holding a rifle. In an exclusive interview with NBC News, Briseno, who has helped bury several of the victims, including a relative, described the encounter and how he was prepared to charge the shooter after his wife brought him his gun but was told by arriving officers to back away.

Comments:

Wonderful. Hide outside with us until the killer decides that his work is done.

The only necessity for evil to triumph is that good men do nothing. This time the result was a murderous rampage killing 19 innocent children and two teachers. Are we okay with this strategy? I don’t think so. I am still dumbfounded when I think about the victims and their horrific last few minutes in this life.

I'm beginning to think we do have a contingent of wannabe tough guys who read gun magazines, in it for the coffee and do-nuts. There must be a new protocol to validate what race the killers are not to start riots if it's a person of a certain special race. Think if this was a George Floyd type person, they better be positive if they must shoot him. This is turning out to look very fishy that many armed men wearing body armor just stood around harassing parents and restrained the Border Patrol who eventually entered the school killing the murderer.

#3 is right. There is a video on Bitchute of two men each claiming to be the father of one of the victims. One is interviewed by Anderson Cooper and the other by Savannah Guthrie. Each refers to his wife, so it isn't a case of a kid with two daddies. Very fishy indeed.

As a retired police officer, I can tell you that we trained every year for an "active shooter". It all started from the 1999 Columbine school shooting. If an officer gets to the scene, they go right in to stop the threat. They do not wait for backup. Those innocent children's lives are on the line and this is what you are paid and trained to do!

Something is not right about this episode...where does a teenage get enough money for body armor and a two thousand dollar rifle he purchased...and why did the police stand down...it seems that someone wanted this carnage to happen...just a thought ...

Anyway you look at the Uvalde school shooting situation. it was the the job of the local police to either get the perpetrator to surrender or kill him whatever is appropriate under the circumstances. Unfortunately the local police did not take those actions, and it took federal US Border Patrol Agents to enter the school, locate the perpetrator, and kill him. Now those Border Patrol Agents are being investigated by the leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats in the US Congress for bringing that school shooting to an abrupt end. Such an investigation is bound to be politically charged in DC, as Biden, his crew, and the Democrats have been vilifying the US Border Patrol, it’s officers, and on one occasion even the horses that the Border Patrol Agents use to patrol the very isolated and rough areas along the borderline.

I just can't fathom men and women standing aside while children are being slaughtered. I don't get it. Parents being handcuffed because they wanted to save their children. It's the people in power who stopped the rescue that should be investigated. How did this kid afford a rifle like that? What is going on?

Afghanistan’s president didn’t make off with oodles of cash as he fled the country last summer, but someone seems to have, according to a new inspector general’s report Monday that says a key security account was drained of funds the day before the Taliban took over. Allegations that former President Ashraf Ghani made off with $169 million in his helicopter can’t be true, America’s Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction said. The chopper simply couldn’t have concealed and carried what would have amounted to nearly two tons of cash, investigators said. But someone did manage to get to “tens of millions of dollars” that were in a vault

The four soldiers were evaluated for possible traumatic brain injuries and other minor injuries.

The pact would effectively nullify intellectual-property protections on COVID-19 vaccines, including the next-generation mRNA shots from US companies Moderna and Pfizer. These mRNA platforms represent decades of research backed by billions of dollars in public and private investment. But if the WTO votes in favor at its summit starting June 12, our strategic
