Pa. GOP insiders are plotting an 11th-hour
plan to stop Doug Mastriano in the governor’s race

Pennsylvania Republican insiders are making a last-ditch effort to rally behind a single candidate in the gubernatorial primary – and defeat the front-runner, Doug Mastriano. Republican leaders are trying to corral Mastriano’s four leading rivals to urge all but one of them to drop out — and endorse the one with the best poll numbers. One version of the proposal calls for rallying behind former U.S. Rep. Lou Barletta, who was well-liked by former President Donald Trump and polling in second place in the latest public survey. It’s a long-shot ploy a week before the primary that many Republicans believe

Sounds like a never-Trump crowd is trying to interfere with the PA primary.

God bless Mastriano. We were all glued to our computer screens when he held hearings and illuminated the steal of the 2020. Bared it all before an incredulous nation. Now only the GOPe can get in his way. Barletta should join Mastriano's admin and tell the gope to go to someplace way too hot.

Yet another story that states "Baseless claims of election irregularities"...from yet another outlet that has NEVER looked at the basis for those "Claims". The difference between "News" and Opinion is...adjectives. News doesn't use them. You only use modifiers if you are trying to modify opinions with your story.

God help each and everyone of us in PA if he is elected as the republican choice. This man voted for Act 77 not just once but twice. His vote opened the doors to voter fraud. Then he runs around PA saying "How did that happen". I'm against anything that the PAGOP does. I pray for us in PA that Doug does not get the election. As for Barletta, he is close to useless. We are doomed.

I have to admit, if the GOP leadership hates Mastriano, I am favorably inclined. I'm simply not convinced, at this point. And No. 4, Pennsylvania was probably one of the most corrupt States back at the Revolution. It's never changed.

Doug is NOT a far-right candidate. PA 77 (enacted in 2019) mandates that only REQUESTED mail-in ballots will be counted, whereby Pennsylvania joined 31 other states that have this requirement. Doug led a strong effort in PA to have a full Arizona style AUDIT (not a recount) of the 2020 presidential election, which effort was resisted by the Pennsylvania GOPe. Democrats are falsely claiming that Doug wants to ban ALL abortions in PA. He favors allowing abortions up until a physician can detect a fetal heartbeat. Of all the Republican candidates running for Governor of Pennsylvania, Doug's policies are the closest to Donald Trump's.

Democrat Adam Frisch, who's hoping to run for the U.S. House of Representatives seat held by Rep. Lauren Boebert, said Thursday he wants to make amends with a Pueblo restaurant and other businesses that were affected by a "muck-up" during his kickoff election tour of Colorado. Frisch planned to stop at barbecue restaurants in towns and cities in Colorado District 3, which Boebert currently represents, on a 1,100-mile campaign tour last week. But poor communication and even worse research led to parts of the tour, including the Pueblo leg, being disastrous. Before the tour, Frisch was told that his campaign
