The Senate voted on Monday evening to advance a bill to send $40 billion more aid for Ukraine in its war against Russia, setting up a final vote possibly on Wednesday. The tally was 81 to 11 on the first of a potential three procedural votes paving the way for final Senate passage of the funding, requested by President Joe Biden's administration to keep aid flowing and boost the government in Kyiv nearly three months after the start of the Russian invasion. All 11 anti votes were Republicans showing how an isolationist Donald Trump-allied wing of the party has split off from the mainstream.

Republicans with Mitch at the lead are helping Democrats lead this country to war and ruin. Thank you the eleven for your resistance.

If you don’t continue to vote to bankrupt the US and push for a nuclear war for us all (not the ones who will be picked up and taken to safety by the military, of course) without so much as an explanation of why we need weapons in Ukraine, then you’re an isolationist racist transphobe putin-o-phile!
Why can’t bidet make a speech and explain why all this is worth it ? Other than “putin’s a war criminal” of course; we already heard that line of “reasoning.”

It isn't isolationism. It is smart to not get involved in some idiotic European land war between a failed nuclear weapon powered zombie empire and their former colony which now pretends to be a real country while really being little more than a pass-through for foreign corruption.

Congress children go first to combat. We have no business going there. Let’s not waste young peoples lives on something that’s very foggy why we’d be there. Never was fully explained what Hunter was doing in Ukraine.

So, we have 11 Republicans, 39 RINO's, and 50 democrats in the US Senate.
We have work to do, fellow citizens.

Mitch is heavily invested in the Global Military Industrial Complex and has a lot of money and profit potential riding on this. If you think he is going to let this be defeated you can think again. Hunter and Joe and the Kazarian Mafia as well as the Rothchilds and Rockerfellers and the Catholic Mafia have a lot at stake as well. This will pass with no problem.

So our government was unwilling to spend 8 billion to secure our southern border, but will gladly spend 40 billion (5 times as much) to secure ukraine's border. Are the Russians just looking for a better life?

GREAT point, #13!
We could REALLY build a secure a border wall with about 1/4th of the $40 billion dollars rather than to keep paying $120 billion dollars PER YEAR for illegals which goes up higher and higher each year as more invade the country because for some reason the laws already on the books are completely IGNORED with an "in your face" impunity.
$40 billion dollars is nothing to these people, but printing more money will only ruin OUR future as a nation. What kind of mess will our children have to live in and what kind of future will they have because we allow this to go on??

#s13 & 14, by not securing the border, FJB is enriching the drug cartels and killing US citizens. The cartels are the ones getting rich from ferrying people and Chinese produced fentanyl and other drugs across our southern border. Perhaps Mr. 10% or his mafia group is in on the action?

One of Arkansas' two Senators is up for re-election this year, one is not. Guess who voted against this boondoggle and guess who didn't.
