Donald Trump said House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy had an 'inferiority complex' and that he didn't take the lawmaker's anger following the January 6 Capitol riot seriously, according to a new book excerpt released on Thursday. The criticism from McCarthy's fellow Republican leader Mitch McConnell, however, did not sit as easily with the former president. Trump thinks he would still be in the White House had it not been for the Senate Minority Leader, he told New York Times journalists Jonathan Martin and Alex Burns for their book 'This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America's Future.'

Two NY Times reporters wrote a book intended to cause conflict within the Republican party. Don't let them succeed. Trump has been smart enough not to fall for the ploy saying he and McCarthy are working together well. If Trump can can overlook minor squabbles, so should we. McCarthy is reading the tea leaves. The House is changing. The old hacks are disappearing. New Republicans represent the base. McCarthy is racing to get ahead of the parade. Lets just be sure he keeps going in the right direction.

And THIS is why, as a former two time Trump voter and supporter, I won't be voting for the Donald next round, despite the 15 or so texts I get every day to contribute. The last election had major major voting discrepancies, but the NEXT election is what we have to worry about and take care with. Despite this, Trump, ego driven to the nth degree, harps on something that can never happen (overthrow of the last election results) and ignores OUR future as a country. He did wonderful things for us, all of which Biden has destroyed, but grumblings in Ga. over those he felt 'disloyal" meant we lost the Senate and are subject to the Biden issue full bore. Running Purdue now simply means the Republican vote will split and we may end up with Tracry Abrams. Trump has to stop with ego issues and look to the future and how we can be saved........his ego is preventing this. And he will be a Bull Moose candidate and ensure, ego again, that a Democrat takes the White House next round by splitting the vote.

As to poster #5, didn't Trump once say something to the effect that he could murder someone in full view and still be supported. Poster #5 is one such. He does NOT help Trump with his total, unquestioning loyalty....Trump had an amazing common sense businessman's ability to take this country back (or try to) but if the Donald dwells on the past, total ego, we can never have a future with him and he may destroy a decent future with another qualified decent candidate. He does NOT walk on water.....he CAN calm and direct the water---but chooses not to because he cares more about the wrong that was done to him than the future for US! If he would get OFF the last election, I would support him in a N.Y. minute!!!!!!.

I'm with Donald Trump on this one, as usual. He has a lot of bad things to say about people because there are a lot of bad people in Washington on both sides, especially the RINOs. They commited treason and sedition and stole an election! That warrants life in prison or death in years past. Republicans did nothing because they did not want to put their pathetic careers on the line and by remaining silent they helped elect a nutzoid dictator. McConnell, Pence, McCarthy, all of them. They need to disappear. Clinton and Obama need to be put in their places or in prison, either one works for me. This is no time to forget or forgive.

McCarthy is a RINO weasel who only supports other GOP/RINOs. Donating ANYTHING to him and his fellow ENTRENCHED elites only breeds more contempt for the average American who sees his county being ruined by complicit actions by people like him-- The entrenched elites try to compromise newcomers and tempt them with power and political money connections from lobbyists, or, if they refuse the call of the RINO, they attempt to RUIN THEM. Its up to us, but so many survive primary challengers when SO MANY step over themselves and end up not allowing for RUNOFF elections where they can be removed. An honest look at things would show that many Trump supporters were just as worshipping of TRUMP as the wackos were about worshipping the ground Nobama walked... Now they have a puppet in power fun by the old Nobama regime folks driving the country we love to abolute RUIN hoping they will take control..... There is no going back at this point, only the mass of citizens saying they won't stand for any more corruption and cleaning house over the next several years.
