WASILLA, Alaska— Sarah Palin isn’t used to sharing the spotlight. In the nearly 14 years since she burst onto the national political scene, the former Alaska governor has appeared on reality television programs, written books, spent time as a Fox News contributor, formed a political action committee in her name and been a rumored White House contender. She more recently revived her status as a conservative sensation with an ultimately unsuccessful lawsuit against The New York Times. Now, the first Republican female vice presidential nominee is vying for what could be considered a less glamorous role: a member of the U.S. House.

I wish her well. Sarah would add value to the US Congress.
She was greatly mistreated by the McCain people. Unfortunately, she just wasn't strong enough to drag the worthless maverick RINO carcass across the finish line all by herself.
Still trying to understand how we could ever have a RINO as the republican presidential candidate. He possessed no honor and certainly delighted in sticking the knife in the backs of republicans--including Palin.

It might be “less glamorous”, but it is a very important position to Alaskans. Someone who will work hard to enact conservative policies can do a lot more for Alaska than a Vice President. I wish her all the best and hope her run is successful.

Her working for Alaska is bound to have spill over benefits to the rest of us. If nothing else she will be a good example for that spineless wimp that represents my district.

I'd much rather she replace Murkowpie, but it's a start.

True #1. And in one of his final acts of cowardice and spite he stuck the knife in the back of the entire nation when he single-handedly prevented obamacare from getting repealed.

The AP scrawlers never disappoint, making the first sentence negative.
And I wonder if the irony hit them, as they wrote that Palin 'stopped and talked to reporters' at a TIme the alleged president has an easter bunny to protect him from his own words. and from reporters.
Palin would be a good member of the House, and someone should warn the reporters that the House is about to swing away from leftists.
And one more thing - during Palin's short stint as Governor, the demands for records, and ethics complaintswhich flooded her office, came mostly from one woman in California.
That's the way the game is played.

That's one of the smartest campaign statements I have ever heard. The latest RNC poll doesn't even inclue her name as a presidential hopeful but she would rank very close to the top. They had the nerve to list Donald Trump near the bottom with their favorite RINOs all in the top ten. I sent mine back, sans donation, with Donald Trump ranked Number One. Take that you idiots.

I hope this is just a warm up prior to her taking OUT the "esteemed" Senator Murkowski (Rino), when said RINO runs for reelection..

Murkowski is up for election this Fall and because sneaky illegitimates snuck ranked choice voting in on us last year, she has a chance of winning her seat again. Sarah is a polarizing figure up here in our state, even among self-professed "conservatives." I'm hoping those who are Never-Sarah voters will put their vote behind her this time, to help keep the house tilted toward Republican majority. Sarah is not my first choice, but because of Trump's backing, she will get my vote. Some of the folks running for this particular house seat are quite truly bad people who, while serving on local boards and the Anchorage city assembly, have outed themselves as far left ideologues who have no concern for the common person, children or the elderly.
Our Governor, Mike Dunleavy is also up for election this year. Several fairly good folks are running against him and I'm fearing they will split the vote so that the a far-left Dem is elected, again with help from ranked choice voting. Trump has voiced his support for Mike, and I will cast my vote for him. Wish us good luck up here in the Greatland this Fall.

Unlike our President, she gave lengthy answers to many questions: ~~ "Palin said Trump was among those who contacted her after Young’s death asking if she would be willing to run. She said this is a good time in her life to seek a return to office, politically and personally. Her family life has changed, she noted, with her four older children grown. Her youngest, Trig, is in middle school. Palin was divorced from Todd Palin, her husband of more than 30 years, in 2020.
Palin said she feels like she has “nothing to lose” in running. After having her political and personal life in the media glare for so long, “what more can they say?” she said, adding later: “To me, it’s freedom.”
Trump has endorsed Palin and has made the state’s senior U.S. senator, Lisa Murkowski, one of his top targets this year after she criticized him and voted to convict him during his second impeachment trial."~~

Nice to see someone removed their lips from Nicole Wallace's rear end long enough to respond. AntiPalin inpulses die hard among those smarter than the rest of us, their lengthy record of being out of touch and flat out wrong to a degree Anthony Fauci could only begin to set as a future goal.

I only voted for McCain because of her and I’m glad that she’s back. Legacy media will be after her again but she’ll prevail.
