Seattle's crime surge spreads statewide
thanks to Democrats' progressive policies

Seattle’s crime surge spreads statewide thanks to Democrats’ progressive policies. Thanks to a Democratic legislature that codified the radical defund police proposals into laws, plus light-on-crime judges, the crime surge hitting Seattle is spreading across the state. And there is no sign that the crime explosion will slow; in fact, it’s getting worse. Seattle has averaged more than one homicide a week so far this year. Gun violence has nearly doubled, with 95% more shots fired and a 171% increase in gunshot victims compared to last year. Drug dealing is rampant, homeless shoplifters are destroying local businesses, and random, brutal assaults are all too common.

Comments:

Well, if the people want to stem the violence they need to elect legislators that will enact laws that:
1. don't handcuff the police in dealing with felons.
2. make sure violent felons get high bail.
3. makes sure felons convicted of repeated violent crimes stay in jail until they're too old to comit crimes.

Unfortunately, there are a fair number of conservatives there; but, they're totally outnumbered by the leftist's in the Seattle Puget Sound area. The liberal idiots are able to pretty much control the entire state due to population density. My personal thought to counteract their control is to create a statewide county "electoral college". I know; but, I can dream can't I? :-) I guess the states never expected this amount of control from a single organism during their inception.

The libs will move away on some pretext, then demand the same Equity in Florida or Texas or the Carolinas or wherever else they wind up. Nearly without fail; their arrogance is such that they cannot admit to a mistake, especially one as vast as being a liberal.

Washington state has had mail-in only voting for at least 20 years. Since its inception there has not been a Republican governor elected, nor a Repub majority in the legislature. The theft of our elections has been going on for a very long time. All the west coast states have had this "voting feature" for decades now, and they want to add "rank voting" for "jungle primaries" to facilitate their fraud. Its been their dream for the nation to "ensure" election results, and it came true in 2020. #1 and all the other "they get what they deserve" posters: There are millions of conservatives in California; do they deserve what has transpired in our state anymore than any American deserves the results of the 2020 election? The same holds true for all the "blue" states, Americans live there too. I will not give up my birthright as an American, and that birthright is part and parcel of my birthright to live in California. I've been east of the Rockies a few times and its too dang flat and has horrible weather for this California Girl, but those born there or move there its their home and they love their home states. God bless them! MAGA - If its not for all 50 states, it ain't worth buttkiss.

I still have family in Washington state. About a dozen in the Seattle area and about the same amount on the Eastern side of the mountains. A few are conservatives, but I'm pretty sure the younger ones are woke. My middle sister, who's gone now, was a rabid liberal. It's why I live in fly-over country.

President Biden received hundreds of thousands of “excess” votes in Democratic-controlled areas in the 2020 election, according to an academic study on voter fraud that suggests the push to relax voting standards created new opportunities for electoral mischief. John R. Lott Jr., the man behind the research, teased out those numbers by comparing Democratic-dominant areas to Republican-dominant places over the past two presidential elections, particularly in places where claims of election fraud were reported in 2020.

Three Milwaukee, Wisconsin, officials face accusations of illegally taking "Zuck Bucks" to facilitate voting by purchasing absentee ballot drop boxes, among other things, according to a lawsuit filed by the Thomas More Society. The complaint, filed last week against Milwaukee Acting Mayor Cavalier Johnson, former Mayor Tom Barrett, and City Clerk Jim Owczarski, claims the officials violated Wisconsin's election bribery law by taking private donations from the non-profit Center for Tech and Civic Life, which is funded by billionaire Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan.

When the New York Post published information about the tawdry access-peddling business dealings of President Joe Biden’s son a month before the 2020 election, much of the major media refused to cover it. Some of them even called it (without any evidence) Russian disinformation. Big Tech's social media platforms took the unprecedented step of throttling access to the stories.... It showed how Joe Biden’s family used his power to gain riches, and how Biden thought there was nothing wrong with it.

ERBIL, Iraq (Reuters)—Iran‘s Revolutionary Guards claimed responsibility for a dozen ballistic missiles that struck Iraq's northern Kurdish regional capital of Erbil in the early hours of Sunday, Iran‘s state media reported, adding that the attack was against Israeli "strategic centres" in Erbil. The missiles targeted the U.S. consulate among other sites, according to the Kurdish regional government. The missile attack comes as talks to revive the 2015 Iran nuclear deal face the prospect of collapse after a last-minute Russian demand forced world powers to pause negotiations for an undetermined time despite having a largely completed text.
