Not even slightly unexpected. Lots of actors are total dingbats.

Is anyone surprised by this? You have people who slip and slide into the personality du jour as a rule. They spend so much time being somebody else that their own self, if there even is one, is buried. They're looking fearfully over their shoulder looking for themselves. Many of these people are only happy when they're someone else and can't stand being with themselves. WHY would one listen to ANYTHING an "actor" says? They lie for a living, it's what they do.

In my younger days, I worked behind the scenes in local theater. Most of the actors were crazy as loons. The backstage people laughed at them.

To aspire to becoming a famous actor or celebrity, you would have to have serious esteem issues or be loaded with narcissism. If your dreams come true at one point, sustaining the euphoria of the experience is nigh impossible, thus the depression and addiction.

Once upon a time, actors and actresses were considered by decent society to be on a par with prostitutes. Only society’s attitude has changed, not the profession itself.

This sounds credible. Most Oscar winners are celebrities in the Hollywood progressive social circle. Since they are popular in that group they are probably wealthy Democrats. Members of that group are likely to have mental issues or they would not choose to be progressive Democrats. They have plenty of access to drugs, so they are likely to get addicted to drugs. They are probably not active in a Christian church so they don't have a strong support group to lead them to reject the evils they are exposed to.

After a lifetime of observation of Hollywood, I have to say that it does take somebody with some bad wiring somewhere within them to be one of the greats of Hollywood. Normal people like the rest of us just don't have it within us to be part of this crowd.

FTA: once attained, the success feels empty and fraudulent. It feels undeserved.’ That's because it usually is. Amy Winehouse could not be reached for comment. Before the age of radio and television, actors were nothing more than traveling carnival performers. The electronic equipment allowed their performances to become more widespread but the quality did not stand up to the reach, with very few exceptions. People like Betty Davis and Humphrey Bogart no longer exist or, if they do, are not given a shot at movies.

Millions of Britons could need Covid boosters every six months for the foreseeable future, health bosses hinted today. Dr Jenny Harries, chief executive of the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), suggested the most vulnerable 'relevant groups' in society will still need regular top-up jabs. Britain is still in a 'period of uncertainty', she said, despite all restrictions being lifted more than a month ago. Experts are unable to predict when a new variant may occur and how it could affect immunity from vaccines, she said. Around 8million over-75s, care home residents and immunocompromised over-12s in England can now book their fourth dose. Fifth, and potentially even sixth

He opened his speech by recalling his father previously stating, 'Don't tell me what you value. Show me your budget—I'll tell you what you value.' The commander-in-chief was addressing Americans from the White House after unveiling his $5.8 trillion spending plan for the next fiscal year, which also includes a new tax on billionaires and aims to ease supply chain bottlenecks, beef up American cyber-defenses and reduce the crime wave that's currently plaguing many U.S. cities.

President Biden released Monday a budget that includes nearly $82 billion over five years to maintain preparations for future pandemics through better data collection and equal access to vaccines. The Department of Health and Human Services said its blueprint for fiscal 2023 creates a Vaccines for Adults program that would provide uninsured adults with any shots recommended by advisers to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It is modeled on an existing vaccine program for children. Among other provisions, the budget includes $200 million for the CDC’s data-modernization efforts amid complaints that data about the coronavirus is often incomplete or outdated. The agency said the data system

A federal judge has dismissed felony drug and gun charges against a former policy fellow for Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey's office, finding two Minneapolis police officers illegally searched his car during a traffic stop in 2020. U.S. District Judge Nancy Brasel ruled that evidence overwhelmingly did not support claims by Minneapolis officers Zerrick Fuller and Daniel Ledman that they smelled marijuana coming from Keegan "KJ" Rolenc's car after they pulled him over. Brasel threw out the evidence the officers collected during what she deemed an unconstitutional search, calling Ledman's testimony about the stop inconsistent and "not credible." Across the United States, police frequently cite the distinctive odor of marijuana

In Boston University Law Review article “The Antiracist Constitution,” the Washington and Lee University professor alleges our nation’s founding document “serves white supremacy.” He aids his argument with George Floyd’s death, the Fugitive Slave Act, and the fact that Thomas Jefferson owned slaves. The professor points out a peculiarity: It is June 28, 1776. The Continental Congress orders that Thomas Jefferson’s draft of the Declaration of Independence “lie on the table.” … Jefferson, who enslaves hundreds of people, nonetheless includes an assertion that “all men are created equal.” Moving forward to fugitive slaves: It is September 18, 1850.
