'A Huge Red Flag': Chuck Todd Panics Over
GOP Lead in NBC Midterm Poll

During the panel segment on NBC’s Meet the Press, host Chuck Todd openly panicked over the Republican Party’s lead in his network’s poll of the generic congressional ballot on Sunday, calling it a “huge red flag”, and remarked how the GOP hasn’t led in NBC’s generic congressional ballot poll since September 2014.  Dispatch Editor and panelist Steve Hayes believed there are two reasons why President Joe Biden and the Democrat Party are suffering in the polls with the first being “we're not seeing any improvement” in the economy, and the second is “he's [Biden] not willing to do the kind of things, I think, both with respect to the war

Where is your brain, Chuck. Look at the damage your president has done. There's a war between Russia and Ukraine that didn't have to happen. Sounds like biden wants to expand the war. The southern border is wide open while Americans are losing their jobs because they won't get the shot. There is law and order in democrat big cities. Why again are you surprised?

Yeah Chuck, democrat policies lead to regressive tax and cost effects that hurt the people the dems claim to champion. The same thing happened with BO. They were going to "fix" the medical care, a system that wasn't really broken. The result was soaring costs, lack of care due to doctor shortages and rural facilities being forced out of business, and the policies that were made available to "everyone" being priced higher and higher with insane deductibles and co pays. Sure, you could get a policy but it was worthless unless you had major medical bills, which the majority of people do not. If you didn't want to play the dem game, they punished you with punitive "taxes". What is insane is that the lower income classes think the dems are on their side. Even after Trump instituted Conservative policies that brought unheard of job opportunities and wages to the lower classes, a lot of people that benefitted supported dems in 2020. Now they are paying the price for their stupidity. Wake up! Dems NEVER deliver what they promise and their policies do NOT work. The only reasons dems are in politics are power and graft for themselves and their close supporters.

I don't know why he would panic. His team controls the voting machine output. I went to vote on one race this week with 3 republicans running for judge. I asked for a paper ballot. They looked confused, made phone calls, and finally said "We don't have them." I walked out, rather than vote on their Dominion machine.

Mr. Todd more reasons you did not touch upon: 1. A demented president 2. An inept Vice President who got her position due to her race, gender and not ability plus her “friendship” with Willie Brown. She is not presidential material 3. He is the cause for inflation 4. A democrat President that let Americans be murdered in Afghanistan 5. Democrats care more for Ukraine’s border than our Southern Border which is a disaster 5hey caused 6. Oil prices 7. Democrats push for school system’s WOKEness and using school for social engineering instead of focusing on subjects that really matter 8. AOC and the Squad antics and too much socialism in the party. 9. Ridiculous spending budgets. Original infrastructure bill had too many thing in it not related to infrastructure - remember the 221 million dollars Pelosi wanted for a park improvement in her district. 10. Hillary Clinton and her false accusations against a sitting President that inspired false impeachment proceedings. She should be in jail for treason. 11. The false Mueller Report and The Steele dossier 12. Good old Pete telling people to buy an impractical electric car that cost 30% more than a gasoline powered car. Majority of electric car owners rely heavily on their 2nd gas guzzler car. He was still on paternity leave and sleep at the switch when a shipping/cargo disaster was in full swing. Showing how out of touch democrats are with everyday Americans. 13. A President who continually make gaffes at international meetings that require continual back peddling / disaster control and post speech revisions. He is a laughing stock by other world leaders. He is in good company with the liberal Canadian leader. 14. Prolonged mask mandates 15. Backing the defunding of police departments 16. California … need I say more 17. Hunter Biden laptop scandal and the attempt to cover up the truth. 18. The liberal antics at CNN. Mr. Todd these are the reasons. Your party is focused on too many childish social concerns that really don’t impact everyday working people and is ignoring or causing the concerns that effect everyday working Americans. For instance you are more worried about people being able to select their gender and wrongly being able to compete in sporting categories where they biologically do not belong than things that really matter to we everyday Americans . Remember Democrats tried to champion the need for businesses to endure additional cost for having to add/ build transgender restroom that only effects a very small percentage of the population. Such antics are childish. Republicans will put adults back in charge.

It is no surprise to me that the GOP hasn’t led in NBC’s generic congressional ballot poll since September 2014. It was only proof that the continues smear campaign by the MSM against Republicans and Trump in particular was having its desired effect. The real red flag was the growing number Democrats (now 32) choosing not to run for re-election. The disastrous Biden administration has been a constant string of foul-ups that far exceeds Jimmy Carter's record. Biden's comment that he might accept a minor incursion into Ukraine all but invited Putin to invade. We will be lucky if Biden's of hand remarks (I never said what I just said) don't start World War III. The latest poll only shows that the "I always vote Democrat" voters are finally taking notice.

Yield curve ‘inverts,’ stoking fears

A key part of the US bond yield curve inverted again on Friday, stoking fears that a recession could be looming as the Federal Reserve steps up a plan to hike interest rates. The two-year US Treasury note yield briefly rose above the benchmark 10-year note yield for the first time since September 2019 — an unusual “inversion” that is viewed by many as a reliable signal that a recession is likely to follow in one to two years. The 10-year note was up 9 basis points at 2.41% while the rate on the 2-year US government bond soared 14 basis points higher to 2.42%.

We reported at NewsBusters that the broadcast network morning and evening newscasts went 260 days without mentioning Hunter Biden (and it was more like 11 months of silence at ABC). Michael Sussmann is the Democratic lawyer who is being prosecuted by special counsel John Durham for lying to the FBI. Back in February, Sussmann’s attorneys filed a motion to dismiss the case arguing that even if their client lied about who he was working for when he brought information about Trump and Alfa Bank to the FBI, that lie was an “ancillary matter.” Today, the judge held a pre-trial hearing about the request for dismissal and it sounds as if it didn’t go well for Sussmann. The bulk of Thursday’s hearing was devoted to a motion by Sussmann’s attorneys to throw out the single-count false-statement charge against their client on various grounds.
