People say the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has a messaging problem. But the CDC’s problem is not messaging—it’s issuing flawed guidance while covering up the data. Case in point: pushing boosters for young people. A Jackson County judge Tuesday denied a motion to dismiss the criminal cases against three men accused in a plot to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer because their lawyers had argued the FBI entrapped their clients. Jackson County Circuit Court Judge Thomas Wilson said an FBI investigation, which involved the use of an informant identified in court only as Dan, did not "escalate" the alleged plot by the Michigan-based militia Wolverine Watchmen to kidnap Whitmer.
The alleged plot, which prosecutors have said was spawned in anger over Whitmer's COVID-19 policies and mandates at the start of the pandemic, was foiled in October of 2020.

Cybersecurity company Symantec’s researchers discovered a China-linked cyber espionage tool and worked with the Biden administration to sound the alarm to targets. Symantec said the Daxin malware was the most advanced it has seen used by a China-linked cyberattacker. The researchers think it was deployed in a longstanding espionage campaign against governments and critical infrastructure targets in the telecommunications, transportation and manufacturing sectors.
“There is strong evidence to suggest the malware, Backdoor.Daxin, which allows the attacker to perform various communications and data-gathering operations on the infected computer, has been used as recently as November 2021 by attackers linked to China,” Symantec’s researchers said Monday

Sometimes an opinion pops into my head that I know probably isn’t going to go over very well with some of the readers here at RedState, but hey, what kind of writer would I be if I was that easily swayed? I’m having a problem using the president’s formal title and name together. It’s not a matter of Republican disrespect for a Democrat. I referred to both Barack Obama and Bill Clinton by their presidential titles. It’s a matter of legitimacy. Over half of all Americans now believe that fraud affected the outcome of the last Presidential election. The Arizona election audit didn’t prove that the Donald won, as many hoped. But it did prove that we don’t really know who won that state. Given the election shenanigans around the country in November 2020, there is certainly justification to question the outcome.

In a handful of immigration-related cases that Jackson has ruled on U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, she has made a note to employ the term “noncitizen” or “undocumented non-citizens” rather than the terms “alien” or “illegal aliens” that are regularly used in court and in federal statutes.

Great stuff in here. Our federal government hid data in order to con people into injecting children with worthless if not dangerous shots, in part because someone is making a fortune on it. A functioning society would be preparing prisons cells and buying rope right now, but when even our previous president has nothing but praise for the shots, that doesn't seem to be in the cards.
