TheFirst Casualty of War is the Truth
- The Current Western Propaganda for Ukraine
is Epic in Scale

When we shared yesterday that all interested observers should be very wary of the information from media sources around Ukraine, there was a reason for that. Question everything. Take nothing at face value. If you have never experienced the propaganda push surrounding war, the totality of the inbound b******* can be destabilizing, overwhelming and unnerving. It’s one of the reasons why CTH doesn’t share immediate information. Everyone has an agenda. ×

Comments:

The truth had no agenda. The MSM , being fed by the State Department and Intelligence Community does.

As a former US Army paratrooper, I have seen three videos now of (alleged) Russian desantniki (Airborne troops) jumping into battle, the first fake being of a very obvious training jump where they were wearing soft headguards like wrestlers wear and no equipment whatever with the guys laughing and screaming at each other, with the other two videos so high in the sky you couldn't even see an airplane let alone paratroopers, and what makes it a fake is that true combat jumps--defined as someone shooting at you as you're coming down-- are done under 800ft where you can see the expressions on people faces.

I have seen the equivalent of a burn barrel in the middle of a street while being told it was evidence of a rocket attack. How many people believe what the MSM tells them? Believe nothing of what you hear and only half of what you see.

I admit that I fell for the photo of the Ukraine president in flak jacket, didn't know until I read this article that the photo is nearly a year old.

usually i love Sundance but the examples of deceit that he highlights seem to be pictures of Zelensky posted by others than Zelensky, which are from last year. Zelensky did not post them so what is the point of this. the videos of Zelensky not fleeing Kyiv, are the important ones, the ones he posted. Zelensky is very, very brave and drive by slime should be more carefully avoided imo.

It is easy to pitch misinformation to the Western media in Ukraine, as the Russian military and the Ukrainian military wear similar uniforms, use the same small arms, and drive similar armored vehicles and trucks.

After showing a bombed out school, with bricks everywhere the news went to a commercial. That commercial was for money to feed the starving elderly jews in the UKRAINE, I swear the same bombed out village was shown. Clearly there are places in the Ukraine that were bombed in WWII through 2018 all making great photo ops.

While there is a lot of propaganda about the war in Ukraine, the important fact is that, as far as I can tell, most people expected Ukraine to fall to Russia more easily than it did. The articles I have seen from Sundance seem to suggest that Sundance thinks it is a bad thing that Ukraine is holding off the Russians for as long as they have.

I suspect that any photo of Zelensky would be obscure or obscured enough to not reveal his whereabouts. A lot of footage has shown what looks minimal damage. Any bombing in civilian areas would strike terror, though. Frankly, it's hard to believe anything coming out of the mouths of oligarchs and crooks, or how to be sure which one is which.

There is more BS coming out of this than I have ever seen. Most is pro-Russia but some of it pro-Ukraine as well. The pro-Ukrainian stuff is a little more sophisticated but all probably come from the CIA anyway. I dont have a dog in this hunt. Russia has caused unlimited misery on their own people and the world. Ukraine has spent untold millions bribing our politicians. They all deserve each other.

Anyone who cannot see the massive Western misinformation and propaganda psychological warfare efforts that are ongoing regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine has been mesmerized by watching away to much CNN and MSNBC partisan political propaganda that has been ongoing throughout the USA now for years. That does not mean that such Western misinformation and other psychological warfare efforts targeting Putin by way of personally demonizing him as being a dangerous nut job, and the Russian military as being totally incompetent in the face of heroic Ukrainian resistance efforts are bad and not useful. Such psychological warfare efforts should be recognized as not being truthful, and be taken with a grain of salt, in that it always in this instance will be slanted in the favor of Ukraine and the Western allied political position. That’s what psychological warfare is all about.

I agree to be careful of propaganda on both sides, but the invasion and the suffering are real. Nevertheless, I have grown tired of hearing 'Kiev is surrounded on all sides' when it clearly is not. There's also an absence of news from most of southern Ukraine, where Russia is apparently cutting off access to the Black Sea and Sea of Azov. For all we know Odessa may be a bigger prize for Russian objectives than Kiev,

Billionaire Democrat megadonor George Soros says the United States, and other transatlantic nations, must “do whatever is in their power” to back Ukraine against Russia in the ongoing conflict overseas. After Russia first invaded Ukraine on February 24, Soros says the U.S. and its allies ought to have as much involvement in the conflict as possible even as Americans overwhelmingly oppose U.S. involvement. “I have witnessed Ukraine transform from a collapsing part of the Soviet Union to a liberal democracy and an open society,” Soros wrote in a series of statements online. “It is important that both the transatlantic alliance (the United States, Canada, the European Union, and the United

Democrats are using the 14th Amendment

As the midterm 2022 elections approach, the expectation is that, with thirty Democrat House retirements and the continued unraveling of the Biden Administration, the Dems are about to experience historic losses in both the House and Senate. However, the evil geniuses within the Democrat party have identified the Fourteenth Amendment as a vehicle to thwart Republican dreams of achieving a massive political realignment. Therefore, it may be shortsighted to count the one-time party of Jefferson as down-and-out until the last glimmering frenzy has been extinguished. In 1868, the Fourteenth Amendment was amended to add Section 3, also known as the Disqualification Clause.

'Every journalist covering Ukraine should really, really look internally. This is why I say we should stop pretending we have objectivity and in instead acknowledge our biases so that we can report against them. Many of us see the racialized analysis and language,' Nikole Hannah-Jones tweeted Sunday. Hannah-Jones, whose 1619 Project initiative aims to reframe American history by placing

Washington—Nearly half of the 500 million free COVID-19 tests the Biden administration recently made available to the public still have not been claimed as virus cases plummet and people feel less urgency to test. Wild demand swings have been a subplot in the pandemic, from vaccines to hand sanitizer, along with tests. On the first day of the White House test giveaway in January, COVIDtests.gov received over 45 million orders. Now officials say fewer than 100,000 orders a day are coming in for the packages of four free rapid tests per household, delivered by the U.S. Postal Service.(Snip)The White House says Americans have placed 68 million orders

The majority of adults in the United States disapprove of President Joe Biden and the Democrats in Congress as the president is seeing his weakest job approval from the Washington Post/ABC News poll and Republicans leading on the generic congressional ballot. The poll, which was released only days before Biden is giving the State of the Union, showed only 37 percent of adults in the U.S. approve of the way the president is handling his job — a new low from a Washington Post/ABC News poll — while a majority (55 percent) say they disapprove. Overall, of those who disapprove, 44 percent said they “strongly disapprove.” Broken down by party, Biden appears to have lost independents.

Ukraine to Putin: Never Again 18 replies

Word from the battlegrounds in Ukraine is scattered and cannot always be confirmed, but some credible accounts give every indication that Putin may have blundered and faces a stronger defense than he (or the Biden administration) imagined possible. The bravery of a former comedian elected the Ukrainian President and a multimillionaire former boxing champion, now the mayor of Kyiv, who refused flight and stayed to defend their homeland at great risk of their lives, is part of the story. But to my mind, the memory of the Holodomor in which Russia’s Stalin starved to death millions of Ukrainians plays an even greater role and explains why so many ordinary citizens
