Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky called on citizens to defend the nation as his Interior Ministry reported that there have been hundreds of casualties since Russia began its nationwide assault early Thursday morning.
“We are issuing arms to all those capable of defending our sovereignty,” Zelensky said during a televised address from Kyiv, in a translation broadcast on CNN. “Each citizen of Ukraine will decide the future of our people. Anyone with military experience who is able to join the defense of Ukraine must report to call-up stations.”
Zelensky added that Ukraine will not “cede its freedom.”

This invasion will mark the end of the Covid-19 hysterics. Now the MSM has something else to be hysterical about.

National Review definitely has some culpability for creating the substrate in which the politically diseased bi.den was able to be given command of this situation and of afghanistan.

#1 That was their plan. They needed to change the narrative. I don't buy a total Russian invasion. And for the arms, are they to fight the Russians or are they to fight the Deep State. The Ukraine was being used as a money laundering country. Look who had money interest there. Biden's Son, Pelosi's son, Kerry's son, Romney's son and who knows how many others. That's who the war is really against. This is why Biden is so involved in this. Wouldn't shock me to see that Putin, Trump and Zelensky are planning something.

Where is Ukraine's military? Don't they have a standing army and air force? Why summon civilians to defend against Russian military? Based on the hysteria among the neocons and left-wing media, I suspect this may be more ado about less. Biden supporters are beating war drums in support of Ukrainian national sovereignty while destroying the value of our currency and gutting American financial infrastructure, abandoning border control in favor of unrestricted alien invasion, feminizing our military, undermining and outlawing traditional moral beliefs. From whom do we have more to fear? Putin and his Russians or Biden and his criminal cabal in Washington?

Zelensky, isn't it a bit late to be issuing a call to arms to your countrymen?

Another plausible explanation is that Russia wants a warm water port on the Black Sea. This could figure into End Times prophecy.

Consider the source. Reports from that region are that the Russians are seeing large scale desertions of Ukrainian military so much so that the Ukrainian Defense Minister is getting on Facebook and calling on civilians to take up arms against the Russians. Meanwhile, members of the Ukrainian government are getting out of Dodge.

And those institutions of "peace" stand by doing what they do best...nothing. The UN Security Council, NATO, and the leftist peaceniks. I have stood to say the US should stay out, and I remain steadfast as we will now be bombarded by propaganda from both sides, already photos of bloodied elders are appearing, among other such. I have no sympathy for either side. I'm sorry there was no "peaceful solution", and that's not hard to figure given history. I also recognize the complicity of the "international community" in all this, beginning with its fudging (if not breaking) the promise not to expand NATO into the former Warsaw Pact countries.
For those who want war with the Russians, here's your chance. Let's put the 101st in the line with Ukrainian troops. If not, what was their purpose being deployed to the area? As said before, NATO is now exposed as the alliance of the effete and unwilling, unless the US will do it for them. We've become mercenaries. As FPDT wanted, it's time to shut that archaic alliance down. Heed Washington's wisdom regarding involvement in perpetual alliances and European intrigues.

Watch Ukraine become a bombed burned-out shell of a wasteland. Biden needed a distraction from covid, the economy, and his cratering poll numbers. Biden (or more accurately, the kingmakers that made him President) wanted something like this. It further weakens and damages the USA.
How many troops will it take to deter Russian aggression? Europe better arm up fast if they want to keep Russia from eating anymore countries. The cold war never ended. Russia was weakened when they lost the Warsaw Pact and the USSR, but they have recovered from that.
Meanwhile, all the United States has to offer is a stupid senile hateful trash talking fool of a President. His handling of Russia (and everything else) has been 100% WRONG.
F JOE BIDEN!

If you think gasoline is expensive now, just wait. Thanks to biteme’s green energy push we’re in for some gruesome inflation. The price of fuel impacts everything.
