The DOE will give city public schools a total of $323 million dollars this year to help them cover basic costs—including teacher salaries, according to a memo released last week.(Snip)“There are a lot of schools that have lost entire chunks of their enrollment,” said a DOE source. “That means a lot less money for the principal. Lets see, homeschooling went from under 2% to around 20%(more in some locales) Schools get paid by "Kids in the seats", OMG! Teachers/districts panic, tell Biden, we need KIDS!!!!
Joe Biden, "I gotchu Fam"... Any kid that comes across the border gets allowed to stay, flown to "Random" locations....which we will later find were going broke because of a lack of students.

Wait a minute. Wouldn't fewer students require less money to educate?

Unless he's giving away money to every school district, this is discrimination!

Fewer students would seem to need fewer teachers. Close some lesser attended schools and lay off some administrators too. Problem solved.

That's democrat SOP, pump money into failing institutions while deliberately destroying productive people and businesses. Does that include a mask budget for next year?

Well guess who is paying for all these goofball failing blue cities and states? We ALL are. The Democrats made sure of that with their "infrastructure" plan. MOST of those funds really went to prop up the bankrupt blue shiiteholes.

Less enrollment equals more money in a leftist world. Insane. As poster 11 says, we're all paying for it. We're funding the destruction of our nation and our way of life. It needs to stop!

Sounds a lot like when Obama had most of his stimulus money spent on maintaining union jobs, mostly teachers again, due to the economic crisis of 2008.
But if the children are no longer in the area, they don't need the money to save a teacher position, which is mostly funded by local property taxes anyhow.

They're going to need a lot more "federal funds" to keep the doors open on schools that proudly and defiantly teach nothing of value and produce graduates who could not pass second grade in a private school, push hatred against White people, promote deviant sexuality all the way down to kindergarten, and have classrooms rattling with violence ready to erupt at any moment. For the sake of those who make a fortune running these places, the school doors must remain open "for the kids."
