A serial entrepreneur couple who cashed in on the COVID testing boom are now at the center of a federal probe after being accused of fraud by customers who say they never received results or got negative test results via email before they had even taken the test.
Longtime entrepreneurs Akbar Ali Syed, 35, and his wife Aleya Siyaj, 29, of St. Charles, Illinois, have attached themselves to many trending business ventures over the years, including a donut shop, wedding photography and axe-throwing.(Snip)The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services documented numerous 'deficiencies' at the company's main lab, Doctors Clinical Lab, which has been reimbursed more than $124 million

Makes many $millions "giving" FREE tests...at dozens of locations, in many cities and states.
The Money came from somewhere. "Taxpayers"
They were "given", granted, the contract by "Someone"
While the story focuses upon poor "service" to the non-paying "Clients".
The REAL story is...they had only ONE client. And that client wrote big checks for any/every invoice they received without performing any oversight functions. These people are not the only ones "serving" that Client...how many more are there?
What are the $$$ Totals, who chose them to be primary contractors, what do THEIR bank accounts look like?
The people that chose these contractors...

Dr. Fraud is doing more crooked stuff than they did, and getting no criminal indictment yet.

"A serial entrepreneur ..." It's funny how they equate "entrepreneurs" with "thiefs" right up front.

No worries. As usual, that magic probe will take years to complete. By then, the perps will be living in a non-extraditions country.

This COVID fraud started at the very beginning when Trump was in office. This was Trump's BIGGEST mistake....COVID. He fell for the model that some professor in English developed that was so off the charts it was unrealistic. THEN the democrats ran with it. Never let a crisis go to waste. When democrats get involved, crime and waste was everywhere. The democrats, government employees, Big Pharma, hospitals, medical professionals all profited from this however, the individual families and small business barely survived. America, the average working person....we were all screwed.

Remember - back-in-the-day - when we considered OTHER countries to be banana republics?
And, it really isn't funny at all.

Are they being "investigated"? Or are they being interviewed for jobs to become federal investigators?

Where did they get their ideas on which businesses to launch, and where did they get the money to actually start those businesses?
Their biggest venture, the testing services, raises additional questions. How did they arrange for hundreds of pop up locations in 22 states? Wouldn't that be extremely complicated, and require the services of multiple attorneys, real estate agents, and monitoring for health and safety protocols by state and local health agencies? Where did they find the employees to conduct the testing? Who managed their payroll for each of those states? Looking forward to learning more. Do they have MBAs? Just curious.

Standard operating for the federal government 'throw money at it' to act like they are accomplishing something. Of course, you are going to have people there to take it. If they were recognized as contractors somebody from the government chose them, I blame the 'money throwers' for this. There were billions lost in the government handout that we the people will never know about. Shoddy government is more like it. MAGA

The couple, Akbar Ali Syed, 35, and his wife Aleya Siyaj, 29, would have done better by far had they ever held elected office. Apparently their total haul was only about the amount of interest on the interest of the likes of Fauci, Pelosi and Hunter's dad.

Fauci got big $$$ from ramrodding Covid for the past 3 years. Networks made a ton of propaganda from Covid. Again Corruption and Covid go together like peas in a pod.

So what? Mayo Clinic, here in Rochester MN, was mailing out positive test results to people who gave up on the long line/process and didn't even get tested. These are blue collar men my husband knows personally. I emailed them asking how this was possible and in their typical arrogance they ignored my inquiry. They are run by corrupt liberals just like almost everything else.

Trump wasn’t fit to lead (and I voted for him twice). That said, we pretty much had to vote for him for the myriad of reasons we all know. If he doesn’t CLEAN HOUSE immediately upon his re-election in 2024 despite the negative press he’ll receive, then we’ll know right away if he’s learned anything. His picks for EVERYTHING was a damned disgrace and some of us knew it wasn’t wise. He needs to be confronted about his ridiculous failures as President that strengthened the opposition/swamp.

The US government spent as much money as possible during The Great Pandemic to gull people into thinking they are effective at anything at all, to scare people into taking worthless vaccines from Pfizer, and to spend us into financial ruin to prove that capitalism doesn't work and we need a new way forward. Now they'll say mistakes were made and it's time to move on, seeing how all of the tests are wildly inaccurate anyway, unexpectedly.
