The Supreme Court on Thursday blocked the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for private businesses but decided to let a separate regulation that requires health care workers to get a vaccine take effect.
In a 6–3 ruling, justices halted the mandate for all private employers with 100 or more workers, ruling the states and companies that challenged the rule were likely to succeed.
Biden administration officials had argued that the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) of 1970 gave them the authority to impose the mandate, but a majority of justices disagreed.

In my lifetime - - at least half of the Pubbie-appointed justices have gone over to the dark side - - but - - none of the commie-socialist justices have.
This has been true for every Pubbie president - - from Eisenhower (Warren) - - to Nixon (Blackmun) - - to Reagan (O'Connor) - - to Bush (Souter) - - to Bush (Roberts) - - to Trump (Kavanaugh).
Why is that? How can every Pubbie president be so foolish? Can't we ever catch a break?

Based on this ruling, look for the libtards to start ratcheting up their demand to pack the Supreme Court with leftist justices.

I agree with the ruling, but now now he will claim he could have beaten the virus but was stopped by the Supremes.

This still cripples our healthcare system, as many workers quit rather than submitting to the shot. However, I’ve read that some hospitals, realizing their self-imposed predicament, are now begging nurses to come back without the shot.

Did I not read an article just the other day saying they were pushing this ruling off? I can’t keep
up anymore.

The court system is the only thing saving us from total authoritarianism. Thank God Trump appointed as many as he did.

I'm guessing this ruling is an attempt to take some of the air out of the Jan 23 Anti Vaccine Mandate Rally on the Capitol Mall between Lincoln and Washington Monuments. People with 747s are flying attendees to Washington. This could be as large as Jan 6th - TBD.

IMHO this was a totally flawed decision by the SC. Unless I missed something in my high school civics class, it isn’t the job of the Court to decide if virus vaccinations are a good thing or bad thing for any particular group of people. Their job is to rule on the constitutionality of the law. How can this be unconstitutional for private businesses unless that business is healthcare? What happened to Equal Protection? And my comments have nothing to do with the efficacy of the vaccines.

#1, my money is on illegal surveillance, corruption and blackmail. If there isn't something to hook you with, the DS won't let you have the position.

Roberts - always the compromiser. His legacy remains intact. Kavanaugh - are we seeing shades of Roberts in him with looking to the Constitution being ok, as long as it doesn't make too many people mad.

Do the liberal justices on the court understand that their "feelings" don't count? Are they not aware that their job is to protect the people against tyranny by defending the constitution? How are these 3, and we know who they are, even on the SCOTUS? If they don't understand their job they should be removed.

Right after the SCOTUS announcement Jen Psycho came out and said that TaliBiden will ignore the ruling and told employers to keep the “vaccine” initiative going. So, who exactly is it doing the insurrecting?

#5, hospitals all over the county are so desperate that they are telling their staff who have active covid to come to work anyway. That is the level of insanity the left has caused.
If these hospitals have any survival instincts at all, they will rehire the people they fired and include HUGE raises in the bargain.

A very small percentage of the Supreme Court's opinions are decided upon, or even involve, the U.S. Constitution, as the Court operates under its "Doctrine of Constitutional Advoidance." This doctrine was described by one of the Court's most famous justices, Felix Frankfurter, when he wrote, “[i]f there is one doctrine more deeply rooted than any other in the process of constitutional adjudication, it is that we ought not pass on questions of constitutionality ... unless such adjudication is unavoidable.”
