Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) cast doubt on the possibility of supporting Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) for Republican Senate Leader again. In an interview with Fox News’s Sean Hannity, Graham declared that any future Republican congressional leader must “have a working relationship with President Donald Trump.” “He’s the most consequential Republican since Ronald Reagan. It’s his nomination if he wants it, and I think he’ll get reelected in 2024,” Graham said of former President Donald Trump. (Tweet)

Why do these idiots throw this garbage out there? There is no benefit to attacking either one of them or pitting them against each other. Focus should be on winning House and Senate seats in the mid-terms. If GOP wins a majority in the senate, THEN you can be concerned with who will be the Majority Leader.

Considering both Graham and McConnell are backstabbers, this surprises me. Maybe it shouldn't. Is there a power struggle going on behind closed doors? It would not surprise me. There is no honor among thieves.
Trump should not trust either of these clowns.

I am ashamed such a con man is a top Republican Senator. However, just like Mitch, he could drown a puppy on live TV and voters would keep him.

Oh Lindsey, now you want to point at Mitch, like he was the only backstabbing Republican that conspired against President Trump. There was Mitch and there was Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney and Liz Chaney and John Boehner and Mike Pence and John McCain and of course there was YOU Lindsey. Remember your Fist Bump with Harris? I do. The Republican party is FULL OF BACKSTABBING WORMS. The problem is much bigger than just Mitch. Do Not Think We Haven't Noticed. You see when you betrayed President Trump you betrayed all his supporters, you pathetic little worm.

Makes no difference. If McConnell was somehow unseated, they would just name someone even worse like Pierre Delecto as the leader. Anyone that would be an America Firster would never get any consideration.

The Graham quote has to be one of the more stupid game show-level political statements ever made by a senator. Trump is not a sitting president, so Graham must be crassly signaling to Trump-only supporters that perhaps it is his turn to be majority leader because he'll love Trump long-time (kiss, kiss), seemingly assured Trump will be elected again in 2024. Remember, Hilary was a shoo-in right up until she lost to Trump. Unless stupid republicans screw it up, the Senate should need a new majority leader after this year's elections On this site and among many conservatives elsewhere, Graham is one of the most reviled republican senators, perhaps second only to Romney. This undefined, therefore subjective, litmus-test pledge is likely counter to the separation of powers doctrine established in our Constitution and is not at all helpful for the critical votes required to recapture Congress later this year from the rabid Bolsheviks occupying the capitol. By making this statement now, Graham is virtue signaling like a Blue city, mask-wielding "Karen" and counting on being carried to greater political prominence by Trump-centric republican voters, with Trump's endorsement, of course.

McConnell must have secretly told miss Lyndsey that he’s retiring. Are you kidding? These two take bubble baths together in the Senate gym. No way little miss Lyndsey calls out Cocaine Mitch in the real world. This is political theatre.

It is time to move on from McConnell. We don't have dictatorships in this country, or do we? McConnell has had his 40 years to deliver us into communism. I think a change is needed.

This statement is for the voters back home. Once he's re-elected, it will be forgotten.

Graham is trying to 'undig'. He's in a hole, going to take a lot of 'undigging', and even then, I won't trust him much at all.
